The tavern scene in the city of Milwaukee is amazing. There seems to be a hidden gem on every other corner. Phylo's, hiding on a corner in West Allis, is a wonderful vestige of a time of warmth and welcome. Within ten minutes, we were talking with everyone in the bar. What great hospitality! We stopped in on a Sunday night during the Packer game. We intended on ordering food, but enjoyed the FREE homemade potato soup they offered instead.
