Cookie Dope ~ Edible Cookie Dough & Ice Cream Bar — Restaurant in West Chester

We were looking for dessert in West Chester and when we saw this place on Yelp I knew I had to try it.

Ice cream, cookie dough, and snow cones are what they serve. I came for the cookie dough. They are happy to give you samples. They also have a waffle sandwich which looked great, but seemed like too much food at the time.

We got a milkshake with three scoops of caramel ice cream and two scoops of snickerdoodle cookie dough and then a scoop of cake batter cookie dough by itself with marshmallow topping, white chocolate, and cinnamon toast crunch.

The milkshake was good, but it was a lot. I also think the cookie dough didn't stand out in the shake quite enough for me. The cookie dough scoop hit the spot for me. It's really dense though, so don't overestimate how much you can eat.

Cookie dope is the best & creative place in the West Chester area. The owner is very involved with giving customers the best experience during your visit. The owner & employees were very organized & the facility was extremely clean. The cookie dough was phenomenal!! I loved that the cookie dough could be paired with ice cream & that there actually was ice cream that could be paired with the cookie dough, along with toppings! It can’t get better than that! My boyfriend & I also tried the cinnamon buns & funnel fries, which we were able to put toppings on. We are also very intrigued to try the 12 scoop pursuit, it’s very creative & a great way to try all flavors & have fun. We've been going here since shortly after they opened and I can honestly say it only ever gets better. Very clean, never a sticky mess like some ice cream shops can be. Very creative with all those flavors. Maybe add some vegan ice cream or sugar free options to please a wider array of people, but there's always at least one or two things for vegans. I heard a rumor that the building is haunted by a black cat, but that would just add to the cool vibes there! Gotta love those old West Chester buildings! Easy parking nearby.
