Placed an order in advance for their Fat Tuesday Fastnachts as they advertise that should be done to get the flavors you want. They have a great online order process and follow up with an email and confirmation of your order. Ordered 1/2 dozen (2 cinnamon, 2 granulated sugar, 2 powdered sugar).

Fast forward to pick up on Fat Tuesday, when paying I asked for an additional single glazed fastnacht so I could taste that flavor too.

Drove 45 miles to share these special treats with family, after the bakery they used to get fastnachts from closed this past year. We opened the box, very excited, only to be bummed that inside were 2 more glazed and 4 granulated sugar, meaning my order was only 33% correct. No cinnamon and no powder. Confirmed my name was on the box. Alas a goof up.

Mistakes happen and they were good but for the cost ($2/donut) and the pre-planning, we were so bummed that the two flavors we truly wanted weren't part of the order. These donuts are a limited run for the holiday. I wasn't going to be able to return to the shop that day to correct it so I emailed them, including a photo of the box, with the wrong flavors, my name on the box and the original order confirmation. I have never received a response.

If I order in the future, lesson learned: don't trust that what was ordered is inside. Instead, untape the box and check the order before leaving...

I highly recommend this bakery!! The cake was amazing! But the service and hospitality was even better! There was a misunderstanding when the cake arrived at the restaurant were it was delivered therefore the cake was not displayed to the party but it’s ok! It was no one’s fault just a misunderstand and we are all human and make mistakes! I had called in the order to the bakery earlier that week and could not situate the problem because I had to work. So my Dad had called to find out what happened and the owner of this bakery was so amazingly nice and helped my Dad even though he didn’t even place the order he just needed to find the cake. So my Dad said I will go pick the cake up from the restaurant no big deal. Instead the bakery went out of there way to grab the cake from the restaurant and offered to get it delivered to a farther location which was my uncles house who the party was for. We did not except the offer because my uncle was not going to be home so my Dad picked up the cake and it looks absolutely amazing. But it is the fact that this owner did not have to do anything for us. But instead he went out of his way in every possible way just for us. This is called amazing service and amazing people!
