PLEASE ENSURE YOU ASK FOR YOUR RECEIPTS WHEN VISITING THIS LOCATION!!!!!!!! Yesterday, I placed two separate orders—one for 2 pretzel dog and, shortly after, another for a large original lemonade ($3.39) and a cheese salsa dip ($1.39). Based on the prices listed both in-store and online, my second order should have totaled $5.50 after tax.
Instead, I was charged $6.69, which raised a red flag. When I questioned the charge, the employee (a Middle Eastern woman) insisted she rang it up correctly and claimed the prices shown on the screens were outdated. I initially gave her the benefit of the doubt until I looked at my rewards app screen and saw the prices on the mobil app are the same on the screen and checked out to see what my total would’ve been for the items I ordered in person...
When I brought this up again before receiving my order, she called over a coworker and turned the screen around to “prove” she was correct. But it clearly showed she selected the wrong item the more expensive frozen lemonade, not what I ordered. Another employee (an African American woman) witnessed this and politely asked if I would like anything else. I said no, I just wanted it to be acknowledged that I saw what happened and what she has been doing.
It may only be $1.19, but this is not about the money it’s about principle. I overpaid for something I didn’t get and this lady kept insisting she was correct. I wish I would’ve placed a large lemonade order online so I can prove that she’s been overcharging people who get an original lemonade. And I can’t help but wonder how many other customers this happens to who don’t ask for receipts or double-check their charges.
I will not be returning to this location. It’s disappointing to feel taken advantage of, especially when a simple acknowledgment and correction could’ve resolved everything. I hope this is addressed so other customers aren’t...
Read moreI came here evening of saturday november 18th. i asked for a sweet almond pretzel and a hot dog pretzel. they said it would take 5 min to prepare, and i said ok and paid. i waited 20 minutes and when my food came out they forgot the hot dog pretzel💀 i asked about it and they said they would make it immediately and it would be another “5 minutes.” I said “no thanks could i just have a refund instead?” and whoever was working said yes and tried but said, “i don’t have the ability to do this but i will tell my manager, who will be able to do it, just give me your name and phone number.” he told me he would tell his manager immediately and i would get the refund “by next morning.” i waited two days - didn’t see the refund, so I called into the store and the same person said oh yes i remember you will get it soon! well it’s almost two weeks later and i NEVER got it. i’m not short of money for a pretzel but it’s the principle ya kno… also the almond pretzel was so bad it’s laughable. had barely any almond topping on it and tasted of absolutely nothing but bitter baking soda…also looked like it was shaped by ppl who have never seen a pretzel before. stretched thin and weirdly oblong and pointy. i usually hate leaving bad reviews but this is THE most scammed i’ve ever felt by a food place and i think that stays a LOT. was so so so excited for this place to open but was...
Read moreMy visit at this location had to be the worst I’ve ever experienced. Location is everything but when the team lacks training it shows. The wait was long to order, simply because there’s no system in place; which overall impacts the customer service given( which was poor). Overall appearance of the store could be better along with presentation of goods. I had to purchase extra icing for the Cinnabons due to the lack of icing. I had also asked if they could be warmed but and the team member stated it’s already warm. I simple shook my head and disbelief, knowing that it was not completely warm all the way through just the bottom because it’s sitting on a warmer. One thing I try not to display is the fact that I know food service as well as I do when stepping into establishments, but I don’t like to be played as a fool. Sadly the pretzels didn’t look any better but being a former AUNTIE ANNE’S employee I would gladly love to join the team again to come in to train the overall crew for the “GoToFoods” company and it’s franchisees. Please don’t ask me for date and time to look into the matter because what’s done is done! The overall objective is to train properly from day one and stick with it; we all have bad days but we must be mindful of who we hire to run our establishments when we aren’t present! “We all know better, so we should...
