Dunkin' — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I visited this Dunkin Donuts location randomly to see what my taste buds would crave. With the whole pumpkin spice rave going on during the fall months; the donut instantly caught my eye and it looked similar to an old fashioned plain glazed donut, which is what my taste buds craved. My visit was in the evening, but I have driven passed during the day-time to grocery shop at Aldi, which sits in the same sector. I would imagine that since there are no Dunkin Donuts locations in East Garfield Park this location attracts not only residents from Humboldt Park, but East Garfield Park as well. There are also limited coffee and donut places in the area, so I recommend choosing the time of your visit wisely, or you may be subjected to driving at least a mile out towards either Ukrainian Village, Near West side or more into Humboldt Park if Dunkin Donuts is what you crave.

Other than a different area there is nothing special about this Dunkin Donuts location, but I have to say that it is presented more for take-out versus dine-in because of its lack of tables & seats inside despite it having the space for more. The staff was very rude. I tried to order 10pc glazed munchkins and a single strawberry glazed donut. Before I could even say my complete order she attempted to give me 2 broken munchkin donuts as part of my 10 count. Then was upset that I didn't want them. Well since she interrupted my order for that mess, of course, she didn't listen when I asked for the second time for a strawberry glazed donut.. she gave me an old fashioned... Of course, she did. Then to top off this wonderful interaction, before I could completely pay for my order, she had walked off to have a key key with the other employee and some random person who walked in. I was utterly forgotten and had to reach across the counter and retrieve my own receipt.... Needless to say, this will be my one and only visit to...

20 minute, wait for coffee. In the time of technology I think most of your employees don't know what year it is. They look at a mobile order like it's a foreign object. I watched one employee, make a man's coffee 3 times just not realizing she already made it but the screen is covered with orders one sees how it happened but that's why they suppose to be cleared but not here. I got burnt coffee with too much cream in it. Donuts hard but had wet soft spots on the bottom like they went in the microwave and melted thank god there was another dunkin by the end of the park that was happy to fix the coffee. ill wait 8 blocks from now on to get service and...
