This place is fantastic. My girlfriend brought me here to celebrate my birthday. I had The Knock Off Burger & Cauliflower nachos! From the first bite to the last, The Knock Off Burger proved to be an absolute delight for the taste buds. The presentation alone was enticing, with the burger being stacked high with two juicy, perfectly cooked patties, crisp lettuce, and a slice of melted cheddar cheese. The bun was soft and slightly toasted with sesame seeds, providing a sturdy foundation for the explosion of flavors within. The patty itself was the star of the show. Cooked to perfection, it was tender and juicy, with a delightful char on the outside that added a smoky depth to each bite. The seasoning was balanced, enhancing the natural flavors of the meat without overpowering them. The addition of the melted cheddar was a fantastic choice, as it added a creamy richness that complemented the savory elements of the burger. Accompanied by a side of golden, perfectly seasoned fries, The Knock Off Burger managed to strike the ideal balance between indulgence and satisfaction. The portion size was generous, leaving me comfortably full but not overly stuffed. Each bite was a symphony of flavors and textures that left me longing for more even after I had finished. The cauliflower florets were roasted to perfection, achieving a delightful balance between tender and slightly crispy. The seasoning was spot on, providing a hint of spice that was nicely tempered by the cooling avocado sauce. The toppings added a wonderful medley of flavors and textures, from the creamy queso to the zingy jalapeños & onions. While the Cauliflower Nachos were undoubtedly tasty, there were moments when I missed the hearty crunch of traditional tortilla chips. The cauliflower, while delicious, did not provide quite the same satisfying bite that I associate with classic nachos. However, for those looking to indulge in a guilt-free version of this beloved dish, the Cauliflower Nachos are a creative and satisfying choice.

Stumbled upon Punch Bowl the week of their opening and we were all in awe by how massive the place is. The first week or so were slow, but we’ve been back 3-4 times since then and it’s definitely filling up most nights. There’s so much to do here from an I entertainment perspective, food is super good, and drinks are reasonably priced. Wondering why it’s 2 stars? Probably not, I wouldn’t be either tbh, but let me elaborate... their level of service has deteriorate drastically since our first visit. I understand opening week everyone is stoked and super excited, but our last two visits were memorable (not in a good way though). The visit before last we had a table with a server and ordered drinks and didn’t get them for about 30 mins. Seems petty, but that’s not my problem. I could tell she was stressed because the bartenders weren’t making her drinks, and now she’s in an awkward position. Last visit recap before I end this short novel. Prefacing this with the fact that I go out a lot, not because I’m one of those foodies or anything, but I simply hate cooking. Our server during our last visit was literally, and I mean LITERALLY the most rude server I’ve ever encountered in my life (including trips to Boston and they’re not particularly friendly). We were one of the first groups there so it wasn’t busy. We wanted to make things easier for her and tell her what we were thinking for drinks, and told us to wait to talk before she’s done speaking to us. We’re sober, it’s slow, 4pm. It’s nbd, we don’t let it bother us. Then our boss comes in and asks to put everything on his card, and she straight up refuses. This would simplify things. We have a good size group. TL;DR Terrible service, and it’s not a nice enough place to justify it.

To put it bluntly, our service experience at punch bowl social on Saturday 6/26 was horrific. I’m trying to be empathetic and understanding at the outstanding factors that played a role in the day (connectivity issues secondary to the storm supposedly) but there were just so many other horrendous lapses in service. First off, the grossly understaffed bar. It took around 10 minutes to order one drink and close out. During our me, our drinks took 20 minutes to get to the table. Probably worse, we had a visibly exasperated and lazy waitress. She would, quite literally, move at a glacial pace and let out exaggerated sighs of frustration, right at our table in front of our faces. As one nearby guest aptly put “she has given up”. The food, I will say was delicious and came out quickly. The other MAJOR issue: our experience with booking an activity. MULTIPLE times, I would visit the activity hostess, checking in on when we can reserve a karaoke room. We reserved a room at 3 pm for 4 pm karaoke- received the text confirmations x2. I visit the hostess that we are ready at 4 pm, and she informs me they’re looking for microphones. They find microphones, but then inform us they are out of batteries and “the microphones may not work for long, did you still want to karaoke?”- yes, we did. THEN- the host said “actually I’ve just been informed we can’t accommodate you, because of other reservations we have for karaoke”…….. but, WE had a karaoke reservation, and I showed the text confirmation. This went round and round for 5 minutes and then finally, visibly annoyed, the host decided to go ahead and honor our outrageaous request of fulfilling our reservation and brought us to our karaoke room. As promised, the microphones didn’t work, but we made do. I’ll point out, the microphones accepted double A batteries…. Are you telling me this huge, sprawling titan of a bar was so hard up, someone couldn’t run out to grab double A batteries for the guests? We literally texted a friend close by to see if he could stop at a corner store to get some. Just, outrageous honestly. The day was saved by good company, better service at the bar as the night progressed, but I have to say, our group of 10 may never return for a visit at this...

I really wanted to love this place, the look is amazing, good food, great prices and there’s plenty to do. I’ve only come twice and both times I’ve been met with the worst service I’ve ever experienced going to a restaurant . I don’t know if the servers are overwhelmed and need more help but it’s incredible how terrible the service is here. 1st time our server didn’t really take care of us our food runner did. 2nd was way worse, we made a reservation for the jack box tv station, no one informed us that this area had no service and yet they still sat us there. My friend who made the reservation was sat first and served. She was able to order food and drinks by the time my boyfriend and I arrived. When we arrived we sat and played the game while we wait for our server, 30 minutes went by before we just decided to get up and go get someone ourselves only for them to finally inform us that the area they sat us in didn’t have service, no one tried to move us to a serviceable area, instead they gave us some random bartender who came to take the other orders, and proceeded to ask for our names to open tabs but never took any cards I ordered a quesadilla and rosemary fries which by the 45 minute mark we decided to just cancel the food pay for our drinks and leave. We get to the bar to pay only for him to inform us that he never opened our tab and my food was never even rang in the kitchen. After more confusion with the 3 different tabs we asked for he proceeds to put all the drinks on one tab then swiped my card w/o even checking with me to see if it was correct. The other bartender who was female started getting an art with us because I didn’t like that my card was swiped for dinks that I never said I was going to pay for. Once we asked for a manager it was almost like they didn’t have one. A hostess downstairs was kind enough to literally go hunt one down for us. We were finally able to talk to the manager Annie who was incredibly helpful and interested in what we had to say. This happened yesterday 07/02 and I’ll never be returning here and will very much urge people to...
