Stanley's Grill — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I used to buy lunch here daily. Today after forgetting to bring food from home decided to go buy a burger. I was really hungry and the food was good

The only problem is that almost at the end I found two pieces of what appears to be steel wool from the scrubber they use to clean the grill. I had to go back and urge the manager to change the tool for something that doesn't leave metal pieces on food. He offered to get me free sandwich... Give me a break, like I want to eat another one with steel shavings and get potentially get my intestines perforated. I really hope not to get peritonitis. I hope I didn't actually eat...

We had lunch here on a Sunday. There is plenty of space in the dining room and an interesting mural on the wall. The gyro wrap was tasty and big, but it could benefit from some good lettuce. My date had an egg sandwich with cheese and avocado. It was straightforward and fine. The prices were fair ($12 for the two of us) and the food was totally good grill-style food. Great lunch spot for sure. Clean and open atmosphere. It is really nice that they have PARKING on the side of the building.

Menu serves a wide variety of food. Most famously known for the chicken. I tried the 1/4 chicken and was not disappointed. Very juicy and cooked through. They also give two sides of your choice.

Finished my meal feeling satisfied and healthy. Definitely deserves a shot to earn...
