B-Bop's — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with only onions and pickles. And a large Fry. We received the order with everything on the burger. We don’t live in this area we live in Norwalk and we had to turn around in the maze of buildings out there because I could smell the ketchup coming from the bag( I’m allergic to tomatoes) the receipt had the appropriate order but the cooks made it wrong. The girl at the counter was very nice but the guys in the back said “ what does she want!” So rude! I just want the sandwich I ordered. I love Bbops but this one definitely has been scratched off the list of my go to. The guy who took our order didn’t even speak to us only to tell us the cost. We said thank you and he closed the window. A little customer service...

Can't get a better joint for quick, cheap, fast burgers, fries, and shakes!! This is the go-to place for me and my buddies to grab a bite and sit and hangout inside or outside.

This is no Five Guys or fancy restaurant, so yes, the fries will be worse when cold. And it's not a pretty patty or anything. But it's the exact cheap junk I want to fill my burger needs, and tastes BANGER to me and is filling. This location also never messes up my orders too, and the food comes out HOT and the fries decently crispy and well-salted.

And this is just me, but I love their sodas, or flatter, syrupy sodas more than super bubbly bloating ones.

But again, you can't get a combo this cheap and yummy anywhere else...

Being from Ohio we had never seen this chain before. The decor was great as was the service. VERY friendly staff, at least it was when we were there. A lot of the locals would order a numbered meal and have it changed to what they wanted. The staff was very accommodating and helpful to them and everything seemed to go very smoothly. We got a burger and fries and they were both fantastic. The burger was better than expected, that makes it sound like we didn't expect it be good but that's not the case. We've eaten at a lot of these "types" of places and they have all been pretty good but B-Bop's was excellent. Wish we had one close to us. We would be...
