Starbucks — Restaurant in West Des Moines

I’ve been going to this place for a few months straight, I’m a creature of nature, so I tend to get the same drink every day, I know how much this drink is because I pay for it every day, I’ve dealt with some amazing people that work there, I’ve had stellar interactions with Cam, Bree, Eva and others. Today I was not so lucky I dealt with a person I have never seen or dealt with before, after the purchase was rung up. It was not the original price that I normally pay so I brought it to their attention, tried to explain myself and I felt like he just wanted to talk over me about it, brought in other people and started saying he’s was going to do me the favor and give me a “one time” price adjustment to the original price I’ve paid for months. ISAAC - THANK YOU!!! We stopped here quickly on 6/21 while on a road trip from WI to CO. I mentioned I was trying the Shaken Horchata for the first time and Isaac offered a little twist to it, sharing how he likes to drink it - yummm! Thanks for the recommendation!

Also, Isaac was so observant and took such great care of my husband and I. I ordered my husband a cold brew and before the barista could give it to me, Isaac noticed it had far too much foam in it and asked for it to be remade for us. We don’t to stop at Starbucks often so we wouldn’t have known any different, but it meant a lot that Isaac was holding a standard and cared!

It may not seem like a big deal but Isaac really went above and beyond....

I have always love the service at Starbucks and the consistency of their food and drinks. I know it can be expensive but I will never question the exact taste and quality of what I get no matter where I’m at in the world.

Today I made a mistake in my app and ordered at what I thought was this Starbucks but was really another location. The barista was super kind and helpful, and truly made my day and my employees day who I was picking up the coffee for.
