The Roof at EDITION — Restaurant in West Hollywood

This was one of the best experiences that I have been able to attend. My boyfriend kept saying “compliments to the chef” because everything that came out, for the Valentine’s Day, couples special was none less than delicious! A lot of the food we have never had before, like the octopus, which I said I would never eat. But the chef made it so edible and delicious! Derek was our server, which he did absolutely amazing! Thank you Derek for being so welcoming! But also, there was an Adam, who first greeted my boyfriend and I off the elevator, ( by the way Adam, we have about 4 steps to out handshake perfected so far 🤭) he had excellent customer service! Lastly, there was a Jeffrey who went above and beyond to make sure my bf and I could go home and reminisce by offering to help us out with our pictures, and he could be a photographer btw cause our pictures were perfect! Ty Jeffrey! And thank you Ryan for stepping in and helping out with serving for a brief time.

My favorite was the steak! We will be back for the steak, and the experience! Even the Hotel, was beautiful! Have to come...

It's my second time in this place... the first time I had a great time since I loved the friendliness of the people who work there and my favorite was the chicken tacos.. BUT... I returned to Los Angeles for a little vacation and I was so excited to come here to spend the afternoon and order the tacos again but the waiter who served me when I took the table the first thing he did was ask me for my debit card. This had NEVER happened to me... he and another worker... they looked at me strangely for a few moments... I had good clothes on and I'm not poor... and if I were poor this wouldn't be the right deal either... BUT THE PROBLEM WAS THAT THEY THOUGHT I DIDN'T HAVE MONEY BECAUSE I AM A COLOMBIAN LATINO BOY... AND I AM NOT WHITE like them …..this made me feel very bad.. however I have more education than them and I ordered my food and my drinks without making a drama and I left… THANK YOU FOR DOING ME. FEELING LESSER THAN WHITE PEOPLE... SURELY THEY WON'T MISS MY PRESENCE BUT I WILL NEVER COME...

This has become my usual place to get some lunch and occasional drinks with the girls. I usually go on a mommy and son date during the early evening with my toddler. I noticed though when I go by myself tip isn’t included but when I took my son last time the server added an 18% tip to my tab. Just so everyone is aware that’s for tables of 10 or more depending on the establishment. I feel bitter just because it’s demeaning especially when this place during the day is child friendly. I won’t be recommending it anymore to people. I usually tip anyways but just because I have a baby bit to mention I always sort out the table so there is no mess. I’d also like to add in the same couple gave the table next to us a lot of attention chatting away while we barely got a conversation. Foods great service is...
