I have two medium size dogs, very friendly and lovable. Both are about 35 lbs. At first sight, this dog park looks great. It’s all grass turf with, it looks like, man made small hills. There is a small dog park and a large dog park. Both small in sq.ft. Just with the size I was already wary of how packed it can get and how that would probably make dogs feel a little anxious. Anyway, I decided to give it a shot and made a visit at the large dog park a couple of times. The first time I went, it was later in the evening. Closer to 8:30pm - 9:00pm. At this time, there were few dogs and the people I met were nice. The second time I went was on a Sunday, mid day. It was completely packed. People weren’t friendly whatsoever. Not only that, a white chow attacked my dog for no apparent reason. It was fixated on her and the owner’s could’ve cared less. They allowed this to happen and clearly the dog was not disciplined. Sure enough, he bit my dog by her HEAD and no one helped except for one male who was able to pick up my dog when he got the chance. My dog was bleeding on the side of her head and her lip was scratched. I will never be back here again. Overall, this park is small, over crowded during the day with a mean crowd. Don’t go to the dog park if your dog isn’t FRIENDLY. How...

BEWARE !!! there is a couple Whos pitbull is very aggressive. I also have a pit terrier she is only 7 months and the couple let their dog bite and attack not only my dog but other dogs as well. The couple then tried to blame another dog (great dane) that had just showed up as we were leaving. When everyone saw their dog attack other dogs.
Im not sure if they live in the area or not. But they need to be held accountable.
This is an update so I cant add photos from my phone hopefully I will be able to add them later.
Parking is also inconvenient. Park down the street at the store at your own discretion. or pay 20$ at the library.
The park itself has fake grass. Its pretty clean and was decent over all. Everyone elses dogs got along just fine. But Id recommend you bring your own water...
Read moreSome people dont realize this is a dog park, and dogs are AT PLAY. This is their place to run, be free, and get out their energy. There are a few people who seem bothered by this fact. I was there yesterday and this man decided to grab my dog(for the second time)and forcibly move/toss her, his dog who initiates play would run toward him (after initiating play)and they would play by his feet. I understand that’s not the best location to play but WE are in THEIR play area and he could have easily moved. Do not ever touch someone else’s dog or try to move them from an area, as we are the ones that are in their way! I will not let anyone touch my dog and get away with it, nor will I stifle her spirit to make some...
