Very lousy experience.
All I got was a biggie bag and they took 20 minutes to get it done; not living up to the "fast" part of "fast food". Granted, there were a lot of people in line in the drive through, but i was watching, and they weren't putting orders out there very quickly either; maybe one every couple minutes, and for fast food, you need to finish around one order a minute or quicker, even if it takes a few minutes for one order to get done. The food was lukewarm by the time i got to my car and tried it.
The kid at the counter looked completely lost (maybe he's new? I don't fault him) so he probably wasn't trained very well. I watched him almost put my order together wrong (and then someone intervened to make sure I got the right food), and he spoke so quietly I couldn't hear him from 4 feet away. It wasn't particularly loud in there, as the lobby was nearly empty except for myself and a couple of other people waiting for their food. I conversed very easily with them at a normal volume. Someone train him!
Then we get to the food. The quality was bad. Wendy's slogan is "quality is our recipe," but this location must have thought that means "poor quality is our recipe". The drink was watered down, i assume to cut costs (but that's like, a penny an order? Maybe?), they skimped on the condiments on my burger, and the nuggets were overcooked and dry, except one somehow. The fries were kinda lukewarm, but I'd been waiting a while, so they probably just cooled down.
Wendy's is my #3 all time favorite fast food chain, but if I had only had food from this location, it wouldn't even make the top 20.
To conclude, just go to one of the other burger places in Jordan Landing, or go to Chick Fil A, just across the street. They at least know what they're doing. If you absolutely must have Wendy's, find a different one. The wait is not worth it and you could go to another Wendy's and have your food in the same amount of time it would take to get...
Read moreThis review is strictly for night shift and the manager dude with the glasses... He is lazy which translates to poor service across the board from his crew. Has little to no knowledge of register use and is somehow in a management position? Was told doesn't know how to upsize a meal to medium.. when my order was received, the jbc had been sitting and was like warm at best cheese not even moderately melted.. waited over 5 mins for "fresh nuggets" they forgot two fries in two of our ordered meals as well as the drink. The store owner should be ashamed as one bag was overstuffed and still somehow missing those items.. those "fresh nuggies" had been dropped and pulled to early or overly stuffed the basket and under cooked.. oh and they forgot all the sauces. After two turn around, I wasn't about to go back again. The unprofessional environment is reflected through the overall morale of the team members themselves. Maybe if they had more incentive to care, the service and food wouldn't be such a dumpster fire. I blame the economy in which where what you pay for you should receive.. maybe it's time to raise the wages here, or give the exceptional "Dave's promised service" which this location at night shift does not reflect or have any passion for, unless it's giving you food poisoning...
Read moreWorst service I have had out of all the Wendy’s locations. First of all, the Wendy’s app was defective as I had ordered form this location but the app was saying that I had ordered from another location which was not correct as it clearly had the location in the mobile order. This lead to the Wendy’s workers not seeing my order so had to start again from scratch losing my coupon I had used in the mobile order.
The cash register man was asking me what door dash order I was or what company I was coming from and I had to tell him THREE times that I was just a regular customer as he kept insisting on my company name which I don’t know why. I had told the guy about the 2 for $5 deal and he looked at me all confused and proceeded to take the order as I finished up, he charged me the full price instead of the deal price and I asked him about it and again he looked me all confused. There was also no manager on site so I couldn’t get my issue fixed. I also ordered the baconator with no mayo and cheese and of course I got mayo and cheese.
In conclusion, I had a terrible mobile order experience as well as a walk in experience. Additional training is needed for the workers in this location. I do not dislike Wendy’s but will be avoiding...
