Rolling Bowl — Restaurant in West Lafayette

I was out with a friend and decided to try this place caught out the corner of my eye. Meals look super yummy and authentic. We used the kiosk to order which was nice for our group to skip the language barrier, that became apparent. We were never notified about our food and just assumed some food on the counter was ours as it was what we ordered. To our disappointment the food was cold and flavor was lacking. The ordering process is horrible, the food came out fast and was huge portions so we got over that. I took the first bite of general tsos chicken, the most popular American Chinese food dish ever, and the chicken was completely inedible. It had to have been rotten not to mention severely over cooked and smothered in sauce that wasn’t that good. At least I could get ahold of someone to translate and get me a refund so ups to them for being reasonable...

This is a really solid place to stop near campus. The menu is definitely on the authentic side, and if you're not careful, you can easily get into some items that don't agree with the delicate American palette. I had the Spicy Chicken and the General Tso's Donburi and I feel that these are some easy, "safe" and delicious menu choices to start with before you go venturing into the woods.
