Read moreI've been there three times. The first two are wonderful! I love the food, the drinks are good, I love the waitress and the attention in general is very good. The whole place is very clean and it's nice to be there. On the last visit (Sunday afternoon) all the diners were able to notice that the restaurant was in chaos. It was not the fault of the waitress or the bartender, but of who organizes those schedules. How does a Sunday with an influx of so many diners leave one waitress? The only thing I could see is that despite the running and the pressure of the rush... The friendly waitress and the bartender made a team and between the two they took out the service of the night ahead. I was there until 7:30pm and NO ONE WAS TO HELP THEM. The kitchen gave me a poor portion of potatoes I don't know if because of the rush but that dish was almost empty and we had to order another order to be able to enjoy them because they are really delicious. The octopus arrived 55 minutes late, so my second order arrived first. Congratulations to the waitress and the bartender who looked like the real owners of the business doing a good job, but what a bad image leaves the administrator or owner who did not go to help his team. A tip, that chicken parmesan could be better; everything is delicious in Isla & Co, I really like the food. Please try the wings, you'll love them! Unfortunately my husband got a bad...
Read moreAlright I forgot to take pictures but this place was amazing. Found out it’s their second day so we needed to weigh in - they did a great job. It’s Australian themed and for anyone who has ever been to Brisbane, the ambiance is the same: plants intertwined with chique aesthetic. Friendly staff that cared about our experience. Cute place and location very close to our hotel.
vegetarian Benedict was perfect. I never write reviews so I failed in taking pictures and mentally noting the bits but it was exactly what I was looking for. Hard to find a perfect veggie Benedict. Irish coffee was amazing (salty foam was to die for) mezcal cocktail had a spicy kick and we loved it kids had the fruit yogurt which has basil and pickled grapes - maybe a better choice for adults as my kids are not so refined as to appreciate the aromatic basil and grapes but from an adult perspective, very good! French toast is sweet and kids chowed down sambas scramble - the combo or green and red horizo was particularly choice. kid loved her “decaf” chai made a very “coffee” looking milk steamer for my other kid to feel big and included.
These guys are great. Within walking distance of doubletree or five minute Uber. Would 100% come back and you should...
