I would like to start by saying I have never written a review before for any establishment. I consider myself pretty easy going and understanding. However, I have had the worst food and customer service in this restaurant. I visited this establishment two days ago based on the reviews online and decided to order a Thai lunch special. Red curry chicken 4 stars in the heat scale. Lunch came in a bento box. Even though I have never seen Thai food served in a bento box, I thought: every restaurant does it their own way. No big deal. The portion was tiny and so mild I couldn’t believe. It would not be 1star in any other Thai place.( and that’s coming from me, someone who doesn’t eat a lot). Nonetheless, this is where the problems started: not only was the portion tiny, but it had two pieces of chicken the size of a quarter. I was in shock! When the waitress came around and asked if everything was ok, I explained to her that my red curry chicken had to chicken and only bamboo shoots and peppers. No apologies, no offer to bring another portion or some chicken and in the end no discount or comp. It seems that I may have had a bad experience which happens anywhere, but the lack of attention or willingness to address the issue is what threw me off.

Read moreI recently visited Katsumori in West Palm Beach and had an unforgettable multi-course dining experience. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and absolutely delicious.
The meal started with a mixed green salad that was a pleasant surprise—featuring beets, which added a unique and welcome twist, paired with a flavorful ginger dressing. Next, the bite-sized crab rangoons were perfectly crispy and packed with flavor.
The mushroom soup was a standout, rich and deeply satisfying, setting the tone for the rest of the meal. The takoyaki was another highlight—freshly fried, served hot, and bursting with flavor, easily some of the best I’ve ever had.
For the main course, I tried the Katsudon, which managed to stay wonderfully crispy even under its savory sauce. The final dish, the Philly Deluxe Roll, was impressive not just in presentation but also in taste, offering a rich and indulgent finish to the meal.
The ambiance at Katsumori was warm and inviting, making it a perfect spot for a date night. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, adding to the overall wonderful experience.

It’s a warm, welcoming haven where the lovely owners, Danny and Vinny set the tone with their exceptional hospitality and genuine care. They consistently go out of their way to make every visit feel personal and unforgettable, greeting us like old friends and always remembering our favorites.
The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between modern elegance and cozy charm, but it’s the people that truly make the experience shine. Whether it’s your first time or your fiftieth, Danny and Vinny make sure you feel like you belong.
As for the food—simply outstanding. Every dish is crafted with precision, passion, and incredibly fresh ingredients. The sushi melts in your mouth, the flavors are perfectly balanced, and the chef’s specials never disappoint. The attention to detail here is on par with the finest dining experiences, but with a heart and soul you rarely find. Our favorite is the Salmon Tartar but there are so many can’t miss items!
