Tacos Del Pueblo — Restaurant in West Palm Beach

Dined in on Saturday night 2/26/22. The garden seating behind the taco stand/truck is very pretty and serene. Unfortunately there were too many missteps that brought my rating down. When ordering two plates with three tacos each, my dining partner and I requested all tacos to have no cheese. They said ok. We then ordered sides of rice and beans. The person taking our order recommended we “just get combos”. We said ok. Our tacos arrived quickly without any rice and beans and one order was topped with cheese after the cook doubled confirmed with us through the window upon ordering. I went back up to the truck and told them we were missing items. They brought them out to us with a new check for $6.42 for the rice and beans. Apparently the woman who took our order forgot to charge us for the combo up-charge moments after recommending it to us. After we finished our meal we had to get back in line and wait 20 minutes to pay for the rice and beans. I feel like it was their mistake on two items with low food cost. In my opinion the right thing to do was comp us for the rice and beans instead of bringing us a second bill. What an awesome place! Let's start with the food- amazing tacos, house made chips, the queso...omg, delicious! They also serve beer and hard seltzers. I think most people see this as just a food truck and probably just take things to go. When our friends said there was a place to sit and eat around back, we just figured it would be like a parking lot with a tent or something. Nope! The whole back area is this beautiful garden space with flowing water in a pond, fresh herbs growing in planters, beautiful orchids and twinkling lights in the trees. The whole atmosphere is amazing and they have fans blowing all throughout to keep you cool, even on a summer night. I can't wait to go back here. My wife and I are absolute foodies. The trailer and garden was super cute. We were so happy to try the place. We ordered 30 dollars worth of food and drinks. Wife ordered a Mexican coke and was told they were in the cooler. We sat in the garden and waited. We took so many photos because it was super cute. Wife went to pick up food after we were halfway done with our Mexican coke. New girl in the trailer said we didn’t pay for the coke, even tho we had to pay for everything before ordering.
