Over rated and expensive for chicken fingers. First off the chicken fingers…. Where do I start…They were small, soggy and had no flavor. The portions were embarrassing to say the least, you would think for the price the chicken would be bigger. They were also soggy to the point where I questioned if they were deep fried/baked and they were just microwaved. The chicken had absolutely, I MEAN ABSOLUTELY no flavor. You couldn’t taste the batter, grease, or any seasonings. How is this even possible. Did they forget to add seasoning into the batter or on the chicken when they cooked it? The toast was the same. Soggy and no flavor. The fries tasted like paper and had absolutely no flavor. They were hard like cardboard. The lemonade was just water with a drop of lemon mixed in. It had no flavor, or tartness of lemon. It wasn’t sweet or sour. It was just plain water with a few drops of lemon, exactly the same as what you would get for free when you dine in somewhere. The sauce was ok but nothing special to write home about. The coleslaw was the best item in the box. It was the only item that had any flavor and it wasn’t even a good coleslaw. This is such an overpriced overrated place that I don’t understand the hype. Almost 14 bucks for this was a complete waste of money. This is my first and last time here, this place is such a letdown. Go somewhere else like kfc or Popeyes where you can actually taste some sort of flavor in the chicken. This place has one consistent theme and that’s “No Flavor”.

As a resident from Louisiana.... and one who knows how the canes chicken normally is... this particular time at this location was a complete letdown.. the food all seemed stale, or dry... the toast that is normally fresh, at 99% of canes locations I've visited., seemed very dry .. not exaggerating... seems the quality of the bread was maybe old, and still used..I had to chew far more times than normal to eat this bread...normally, it's so fresh you can eat 3 of them with no drink.. this one..nahhhhh.. very dry... the fries, were even dry, some like brown... instead of a bright fresh almost golden color.. stale.. like fried in old grease...the tenders I expected to be better, instead ,it was the same.. now normally canes chicken is juicy, not just fresh and hot.. but if cooked right.. the water is still in the meat , making it easy to consume more.. this one, no exaggerating, was very dry..I was actually shocked...I struggled to eat one. Not wanting to waste my money, I tried to eat another tender , to see if it was different,.. but nope,it was dry as well.. finally I just threw the half eaten food away and left with my drink...

Don’t get the hype? First time coming here was about 2 weeks ago and it was chicken tenders. Whats so special? Nothing really stood out to me. I didn’t jump up and down saying I need to come here again because the food was super good. I mean I didn’t even get BBQ sauce which apparently I was telling someone that and they said that I had to pay extra for that. Extra for sauce…? I remember when this place first opened and holy cow the lines for drive-thru were so long. I remember the police were there at times to what I’m guessing was to help direct traffic. The thing that I really liked about this place though was the high school memorabilia. I think that’s so neat having local memorabilia and having it coming from multiple schools. I just liked how it was local teams so local people can feel a connection in the building if that makes sense. That was my favorite part of the whole experience there.

If you have never had raising canes then let me be the first to tell you that you're in for a treat. All they sell is Chicken Fingers, crinkle cut French fries, Cole slaw, and garlic buttered Texas toast. They offer 4 sauces. Signature Canes sauce, homemade honey mustard, Louisiana hot sauce, and Heinz ketchup. Lets talk about the chicken, it's always hot and fresh. Every order is made when you place it. Very little breading to chicken ratio. Never to greasy. It is easy to tell that they use quality chicken and make it when you order. You can always expect hot and fresh food. In my opinion the Cole slaw is lack luster and for only having a few menu items I think they missed the mark on the Cole slaw. The Texas toast comes two ways. Always order it BOB'ED (Butter on Both Sides) it takes the toast to the next level. You must ask for the BOB as they will not ask you. You can substitute one item for another. Ex. Sub cole slaw for extra bread, or more fries, or a extra sauce. Be prepared to pay .37 for any extra sauces that you should want. Ketchup and hot sauce is free. They offer coke products and have the good ice. As good as Raising canes is and for as much or as little as you may have heard about it. Remember that you are at a made to order fast food restaurant. This is not fine dining. Set your bar at fast food and you will be blown away. Set your bar at fine dining and you will be not as happy. For hot fresh chicken strips nobody does it like canes. If you are in the area of a Raising Canes then I strongly recommend trying it. Just remember to...

Every time at this location I wait for probably 20-30 minutes in the drive through line. If you are within range to the Woodbury location go there instead. The line is just as long there as the WSP one but it actually moves at a reasonable pace. With the same size line at the Woodbury location I would spend literally 5 minutes max in line.

They literally serve four things, chicken, bread, fries and coleslaw. It should not take 30 minutes for a "fast" food place to fulfil the orders of 5 people. When I look inside the window I see at least 6 employees. Can go to a Wendys, BK, McDonalds, Culvers, KFC, literally any fast food restaurant with 2-3 employees inside and spend no longer than 5 minutes in the line. It's almost as if they are being slow on purpose.

This most recent visit I ordered nothing but chicken fingers and sauce. I spent ~30 minutes total in line and 7 of those were AFTER I paid, while in front of the second window.

Also they have a system where you have to drive around the restaruant to get in line and they have these "cones" planted in the ground to prevent drivers from going straight to the window without adhering to the system. Well there is a hole between the cones where people can drive through and basically cut in line.

Go to any other location if it's...
