REAL REVIEW, REAL TIME : this place was a MASSIVE disappointment. We took a chance on it once & it was decent, so we came again for a second time. This time we were seated promptly, super great… but everything that followed was TERRIBLE. We sat without drinks for 20 minutes, then finally got them when our waitress came in a rush to take our order. After a few refills of drinks & waiting an additional 30 minutes we finally got some appetizers 🙃 we were hungry because we had waited for quite some time, so the food disappeared quite quickly. Appetizers are supposed to prep you for your meal, right?? Well I guess ours was to hold us off for AN ADDITIONAL HOUR AND FIFTEEN MINUTES. It was actually RIDICULOUS. It would make sense if they were backed up, but EVERYONE ELSE around us was getting fed and walking out with their parties (WE DIDNT EVEN ORDER THAT MUCH MORE FOOD THAN EVERYONE ELSE). While waiting for such a LONG time, we kept looking over at the counter waiting for our food and we were ignored 🙃. Our waitress came over to refill our drinks with attitude for the 7th time & said our food would be out shortly… for the 7th time. After THIRTY more minutes from her 7th time saying our food was coming, it finally came. We were excited for the food to finally get to us, but more disappointment came as the food was so poorly portioned & so SMALL for its price 🙃 if you throw down on real sea food boil, then you expect the taste of the broth to be AMAZING… yeah no, mere disappointment. No great flavoring, the food was all separated (THE POINT OF SEA FOOD BOIL IS EVERYTHING BEING COMBINED 🤡), we ate straight out the bag, no side plates, no pan, no gloves, no wet wipes, the top of the paper towels had prints from the previous customers 🥸 it wasn’t great. Not even good. We ate the food in about 10 to 13 minutes… and boom, we were out. We sat there and waited longer than when we ate together. Again, ridiculous. I could go on and on, even about the cleanliness of the place, like the bathroom 🤢 but I’ll just leave it at that. All around poor experience. I wish I could rate it at ZERO stars from the food, waiting & poor...
Read moreWe LOVE the food! However, after leaving the restaurant tonight I feel that this needs to be said. Our waitress was new to Bucket o' and she was amazing! The problem was with the food and the MANAGER. We ordered 2 lbs of mussels, which, is $12-$13 per lb. Atleast 1/3 of which were inedible. We ordered another 2lbs of mussels and we had the unopened muscles stillsitting on the table. We mentioned them to our amazing waitress when she stopped by. She was so sweet and we talked about the dangers of eating clams and mussels if they do not pop open when steamed. She told us she would look into it for us and later came back with a bag so that they could be bagged up to show the supplier. Once all said and done my friend and I were talking when this woman comes to the table holding the bag of mussels. There was NO hello, NO introduction as to name and title, ONLY "even if the mussels haven't opened they are still cooked and can be eaten" she then proceeded to struggle with opening the mussel with a crab fork. My friend and I insisted that you do not eat mussels if they do not open when steamed. She proceeded to disagree then said she will only void one of the orders of mussels. She approached us as if we were attempting to steal or pull a fast one. NO! Anybody working with seafood should know this rule. You NEVER eat clams or mussels if the shell doesn't open when steamed because more often than not the mussel was sick/bad. So no lady I will not eat the bad mussels you brought back to our table. We NEVER asked for them to be taken off our bill and she had the audacity to treat us that way. If I could get this kind of food anywhere else I would go there instead of here after the treatment we...

I understand this place has good business and can get busy, but last Saturday’s experience was unacceptable. I brought several friends to try their Cajun recipes, but no server attended to our table after we were seated.
After 20 minutes of waiting and feeling hungry and thirsty, we tried to get someone’s attention but to no avail. About 15 minutes later, I noticed three servers chatting and leaning on the corner wall by the counter. One male server saw me waving, hesitated, and then turned aside to continue their conversation.
As our group grew impatient, I approached the counter to ask for a server. After a brief conversation and checking the blackboard, the male server finally realized it was his turn to help us. With some awkwardness, he made his way to our table. He then noticed we hadn't received any drinks or water but turned away to fetch them without any explanation.
Throughout our stay, this server didn’t check on us until we were ready for the bill. Our food arrived in plastic bags carried by another lady, and since my friends had never eaten here before, they had questions about ordering and eating, especially since we weren’t given menus. The server offered no assistance. We were left without plates, and it is difficult to distinguish between the bags of food.
When we finally received the bill, I noticed a $38 tip had already been added (we were not told nor explained). My friends felt robbed, and I felt terrible for bringing them here. It’s frustrating to be charged for service we never received. My friends have said they will never return, and I feel the same. With so many new Cajun boil places in town, this is not how to...
