Avoid!!! This was an awful experience. Initially the customer service was good, but when we got home and experienced the level of inadequacy in the food, and attempted to return over half of an uneaten bag of food, having to walk through a snowstorm , two parking lots, and up and down three flights of stairs from a motel room, yet you bet I returned it because it was disgusting. Now because the customer service was good, had the customer service remained good, even if they had not returned my money, I could have left without feeling negatively. However when I brought a heavy bag of food back, over half still remaining, the employee who responded to my complaint wanted to act as if I had eaten the entire order. I literally got up off of my bed in my Hotel room, turned right back around, walked three flights of stairs, through those two parking lots, then had to return again, it was so bad. The customer service at my return was what really made this review turn super negative. No one seems to understand what customer service means anymore and unless a customer is completely out of bounds, you should act like they are right even if you're telling them you're sorry, you can't accommodate them. I would have accepted it if they told me that their policy was that with the food about half eaten, they couldn't return my money; that's a common practice among restaurants. Had we been in the restaurant when we were eating this, we would have taken one or two bites and wanted our money back. I've explained that we were walking from our motel room so we did try to force down some of that food and it was all we could do, and there was still over half of it, don't you dare tell me that we ate all of our food! Don't risk the experience! In the end, though I got my money back, the negative experience that I had in dealing with this restaurant coupled with the food and it's disgusting quality, could have ruined my night. Read moreToday was slow getting orders out. They were having computer issues. New employee not pleasant. Slow, slow, slow and food was cold!!!!! Not a fan of publicly dissing on fast food workers; however things there are getting worse! HUGE TURNOVER of employees and the Mexican bar had dwindled to nothing. This restaurant needs a TRUE LEADER MANAGING THIS RESTAURANT! There were days they had nothing where the Pico, green peppers, sauce, etc was to be. That is why I wait getting tacos. And when they don't habe anything out (they did NOT run out of it, thru don't want to put it out,... in my opinion it is to cut costs! The general manager needs to get there but in there and manager their store. There are too many cars and motels around and that is probably why they are still in business but I'm only a repeat customer because I don't cook sms outs clause yo my home. I ready to protest this store and won't ender spend my money tree Any longer. I knew they had new employeesbut it seems ender well there are new ones and the 'deer in the head lights look ' grim them is getting old. No respect when you daddy "excuse me" thru ignore you! Read moreWas in town with my daughter and granddaughter to pick up a car left from my recent move to Elko. Being a fan of Carl's Jr, we decided to make it our lunch stop in after our long drive. I stopped there first to wait for my daughter who was also running errands to grab a table. I told the manager that I was there waiting for my party to have lunch and ask for the secret code on the locked doors to use the restroom . She told me that I couldn't use the restroom until I places an order. Hello? I just told you that my daughter and granddaughter were going to meet me there for lunch and they are not here yet to place the order. After being refused to use the restroom again I promptly called my daughter and told her to meet me next door at the Sizzler restaurant where I was able to use the restroom and given a table to wait at! Thank you! (Read my review for this location!) I was very disappointed with my Carl's experience that I'm thinking twice about going into another location again. They need to weigh the decision they made in losing a guest wanting to use the restrooms while waiting for other members of the party to arrive.
