Cupbop - Korean BBQ in a Cup — Restaurant in West Valley City

I can't believe I even have to write this because I usually love this place! My boyfriend and I are regulars at this location, but today, when we came in, the cashier lied to our faces! My boyfriend ordered us both our cupbop bowls as a combo with 5 extra mandoo each as well as a side of kimchi. He had also asked if we could get a k-dog as he really wanted to try it. The cashier said they were currently out as they had a lot of online orders earlier, and we were perfectly okay with that! We know it happens sometimes, and we went on with our time, got our order, and left. Halfway home, we realized they forgot our mandoo and we had to go back because we don't live far, and we paid for the combo so of course we wanted what we paid for. As soon as we walked in the girl who checked out our order gave us looks and sat down for her break / lunch, AND SHE WAS EATING A K-DOG!!! I actually can't believe she would blatantly lie to our faces like that. I asked my boyfriend for his card and thought maybe they just grabbed more from the freezer and went to the register to order one for him while we waited for our mandoo. Now, this worker told me they were out as well. Then when I asked how her coworker was eating one right now if they were out the 20 mins before she started stuttering and looked at yet another worker for help. He said we have a few left in Spanish, she looked me dead in the face and said well we just ran out. I'm so disappointed and disheartened that they would lie like this to...

We went to grab dinner last night at this location. Was not impressed. We were the only costumers there when we walked in. There were 3 employees at the cash register having a conversation, and were to involved in their conversation to help us. We waited, and then when they finally asked what we would like continued their conversation and had to ask us 4 different times to repeat our order. Very distracted. The restaurant was filthy. Every table was dirty, there was trash on the floor. We watched the employees assemble our bowls and one of them was only wearing one glove. He kept putting the ungloved hand in the rice container and kept dropping rice back in the container with the ungloved hand. It was disgusting. We should have asked for a refund but doubted they would have the capability to accomplish this based on our observations. Needless to say we took the food but couldn’t eat it in fear of food poisoning. The music that was playing was also not appropriate. Loud and offensive with many profanities. We had a child with us and I couldn’t believe that was how this business was being run. I would NOT recommend...

Walked in with my friend behind a small group of people, halfway through the line 2 extra people skipped us in line. After they finally got through their orders my friend ordered and got through quick. After her order a door dasher came in and the server asked if I could wait, I said yes thinking it was just one order. Turns out it was 4 separate orders so I had to wait 10 extra minutes while my friend waited for me. When I finally got to order I was holding an icecream and I asked for the deal they had to get icecream and a drink OR mandoo and a drink for a cheaper price. I clarified with him that I wanted the mandoo and would get the icecream separately. I got my food in a bag and I walked to my car, realizing he had forgotten my mandoo. I walked back in and told him, he prepped the mandoo and was about to give it to me, but then questioned me and told me I got the deal with the ice cream. I told him that I got the deal with the mandoo, and the icecream was seperate. He told me no, and it went back and forth a couple times.
