Read moreWas drawn in the awesome ratings but unfortunately tuned out to be amongst the bottom 30% of Japanese restaurants I’ve eaten at. The service was decent and the atmosphere good with good presentation. However be food quality was well below par. Almost everything was bland, lacking flavor. The sushi’s rolls were soggy and bland. The Miso soup was dilute - now that’s hard to mess up, it’s kinda like potatoes. You have to try hard to mess this up. The Agedashi tofu was probably the best dish we ordered but still low on flavor (lacking salt and seasoning). The Salmon Teiyaki, Pad thai and string beans didn’t fare much better either. If you’re looking for real wasabi (fresh wasabi root), this isn’t the place. Overall not a place for those who expect curated sushi or authentic...
Read moreI wanted a change of scenery for my birthday and found this wonderful gem! The staff were all so polite and relaxed. They worked as a team. Our waitress was also the hostess who made our reservation over the phone. The prices here are very good and the quality is one of the best I've had! I will definitely be back, maybe even before my birthday next year! The fish was melt in your mouth amazing and the cheffs took great care! Our waitress delivered my desert with a candle and sang Happy birthday to me with my husband. It was nice and thoughtful also because it wasn't a big loud show. Nice and soothing. I have to say I had a great time! They have red bean ice cream too! Hard to find these days! The atmosphere was calming with lighting and decoration. I can't...
