They have what I like to call southern/comfort food. Heavy, hearty, and good for the soul but not for the stomach cause you are going to be sporting some petruding belly afterward, that is if you don't go into food coma lol. Food is great except maybe the chicken....it feels very Rotisserie, and if you like Rotisserie, great, but for the price for chicken BBQ which isa thigh connected to the drumstick, you can the whole Rotisserie Chicken from Costco for so much less. The mac and cheese is to die for, and the corn bread is really good, and this is coming from someone who generally does not like corn bread. The fries is amazing, and the brisket is chief's 💋 😘. The chicken wings are really good, I love the dry rub and the Korean BBQ sauce. The portion sizes are large and amazing and worth every penny you spent👏. They really feed you well, and the workers are very attentive, kind, and welcoming. Overall, the two times I've been there in the past week, it's been an amazing experience. I went by myself the first time and went with a date the second time, so it works if you are single or have a significant other. It is a small cozy space, beautiful at night with the street lights and atmosphere. Oh, we had food delivered yesterday as well so three times within like the...

The amount of disappointment that comes with leaving a bad review after going somewhere for so long that has always had high quality food. The food we received today was by far the worst quality we’ve gotten than the last few bad orders which we just dealt with. Tonight we got the brisket sliders, two sides of mac and cheese and a sandwich. The quality of the meat was so bad that I bit into an unchewable piece of fat. You could see the quality of the meat was so low because all that was there was just veins and nastiness that made the meat chewy like plastic. The Mac and cheese did not have even a pinch of pepper. It was so under seasoned that it made me gag. On top of the fact that it was rock solid in the container like it had been sitting in there for days and had no taste. This was extremely disappointing because this is somewhere we frequent and I think this is just a final experience because I’ve never been so grossed out by the quality of food that I have actually wondered how low quality what I was eating...

Got takeout and it was super quick.

What we got: The Jamaican sandwich, Brisket Dinner w/Mac and cheese & cornbread, cheesy fries, and fried pickles.

What we loved: very delicious. My partner said The Jamaican is the best chicken sandwich he ever had (we are in our 30s and love trying restaurant food, so there's been a lot of chicken sandwiches) and it was huge. Everything tasted amazing and the regular fries were great, along with the fried pickles. You get a ton of brisket and I was full halfway through the dinner, so even though it's fatty, you get a ton and there's still a lot of meat to eat there. Cornbread was great.

What we didn't like: The cheesy fries are made with real melted cheese and not nacho/liquid cheese. They come in a container where they're packed tightly. They don't just pull apart, you just kinda gotta take a fork to them. I'm not a fan of this kind of cheesy fries, but that is a personal preference. The brisket was extremely oily...
