Classics Sports Bar — Restaurant in Westerville

The bartenders weren’t super friendly but weren’t necessarily rude. The first time we ordered, there was no greeting, she just kind of stood there and looked at us so we ordered a Jim Beam and coke and a Tito’s and water. We watched her pour and the JB was the last of the bottle and I’m certain wasn’t a full shot. She brought them back and the vodka drink was good but it was obviously stronger pour than the Jim Beam. We were charged $18, paid in cash. We had just left Jimmy Vs and paid $12 so the price seemed extremely high. We met friends on the patio- there is no patio service so I went back inside to order one more round. Same bartender…ordered same drinks. She ask the tab name and I told her I was paying cash. I was charged $12.75. So I’m not sure why I was over charged the first time…maybe because we weren’t regulars? Maybe she thought we were paying by credit card? Maybe just a mistake? Idk either way, not cool. I didn’t bring it up to her because there was no way for me to prove what she charged me the first time, they were very busy, and she already wasn’t friendly. We stayed to visit with friends who are regulars for probably 2 hours more but we didn’t buy any more drinks after that. They did order pizza and it was pretty good for bar food but the lack of friendly service and being over charged turned me off...

Went for the first time with another couple today. Nice place. Haven't tried the food but everything is in good shape, service is on point, plenty of tvs. Could have done without the country music but that's just my personal taste and I recognize that. My only real complaint is we were cold AF. It's 37⁰ today and not a ton warmer in here. Customers shouldn't have to keep coats etc on the whole visit. I'm guessing if we were the the back we'd be fine. But the front is glass where the cold is coming in and people order pizza from but there's a inner door that could be closed. I'm sure it would help drastically. Just say having half your bar 45⁰ for the sake of natural light isn't a great choice. People adjust to light differences. Cold is just cold and keeps people from staying longer which is kinda every bars goal. We'd have made a afternoon out of it but the ladies both wanted to go somewhere else they wouldn't be freezing. Definitely be back when it's warmer which isnt far off but hope management remembers this when it turns cold...

The place really has a great atmosphere. It's been busy every time I've visited. It's not so crowded that you can't walk through the place. It's a great balance. They have a huge patio which is great in the summer months. The only issue I keep running across is the staff. I've tried to give them the benefit of the doubt. Unfortunately, it's been the same the last six times I've visited in the last two years. The bar is not staffed enough to handle the business they get. The female bar tenders come and go but they have one male bartender that sticks out. He is really slow, almost to the point where it seems intentional. He ruins it for me every time. This place would be great if the wait for drinks wasn't so...
