“GOT A TOY THROWN AT ME by the GM!” I stop giving this place service a while back when they served me old tenders and when I ask for new ones they just threw them back in the fryer and gave me the same old ones back. I could tell they were the same because one of them had been bitten off. Disgusting . They always mess up orders. Today my son wanted a happy meal really bad and we had not been there in a while so I figured it would be a different expierence but I was wrong. I ordered him a plain cheeseburger kids meal for a child under three. They give me the kids meal with a big kid toy so I ask politely for the younger kids toy, the lady at the window acted like she had no idea what I was talking about so the manager comes up and I explain to her I wanted a toy for a child under three, she said ok. I sat there waiting and then another manager comes to the window to tell me to move up. I told the lady that someone was bringing a toy right back. The other manager came to the window with a hand full of toys, open the window and basically threw the toy at me and slam the drive through window. I was in complete shock! Never had anyone throw something at me so rudely. I waved for the lady to open the window back up and ask for the lady’s name. She said the GM’s name? I said yes I guess if that’s who it was and she refused to tell me her name.I told them what she did and I wanted her name to report it and they continued to refuse to give up her name. The lady who threw the toy at me rudely came back to the window telling me that she didn’t have to give me her name and wasn’t going to so I needed to leave. I was extremely upset how they treated me and especially how they did it in front of my child. What I do know is that the lady who was rude was the GM! What’s scary about this is that’s how the GM acts, no wonder that McDonald’s is a wreck! Management is ridiculously rude and setting bad examples for her employees . To top everything off, I get home and give my son his happy meal and he starts crying because his burger was not plain, it was drenched in mustard. You would think that a place that is based for children’s dining and partnered with Disney would be more careful considering most of there customers are children. Please be careful eating at this restaurant, they will never receive another penny from my family’s pocket! Sincerely, A very...
Read moreI want to take the time to acknowledge Andre at the 905 N state street Westerville Ohio location. This gentlemen went out of his way for us today. My son is 7 years old, non verbal, autistic, and will only eat McDonald’s French fries or crispy things like chips, it’s absolutely frustrating when your child is so picky and has a disability or can tell me what he wants to eat. Anyways, I ran through McDonald’s to get my son some French fries I had no clue McDonald’s didn’t serve fries all day, it was around 10:15am I ordered a large fry and a guy told me they didn’t serve fries and I said oh no, my son is going to freak because he knows McDonald’s and if I don’t leave with fries he’s going to be very confused which can lead to a tantrum and he’s non verbal so he just wouldn’t understand. That’s when I heard another gentlemen get on the mic and he said he would personally make the fries for my son. That might seem little to someone else , but for us that’s huge! My son barely eats anything and Andre didn’t have to do what he did , because of him he made our day so much smoother and my son got to eat before school. I own a buisness and when you have an employee that makes a difference in someone’s life you want to value them as an employee , he wasn’t getting anything out of this, he didn’t have to do what he did and maybe some of you don’t understand how big this is when you have a child with autism but it’s huge. We went through the drive through as well so for him to go out of his way and make the fries for us, I can’t describe my gratuity. I want to do something nice for someone today so they can feel how that young man made me feel. Value your employees, they are hard to come by. Thank you so much for your service, I’ll never forget...
