I love this place but it is really really frustrating when I have to ask over and over for the person to give me more. Prices just went up from my bowl being $13 something to $15 something and I tried a cookie this time which was $2.99. The cookie is just a normal chocolate chip cookie by the way, I was told it was delicious by a friend but I don’t taste anything special or extra good. I usually have no issues with this place, I am very understanding and I know management surely encourages employees to serve a certain minimal amount but I am not paying that much money for half a to-go bowl of food. USUALLY as long as I ask nicely for more they are totally willing to do so because I directly asked them to but this time the guy was simply not listening to me. Like I said I am not paying over $15 for a chipotle size bowl of food that is not full. When I ask for lots of cauliflower and he gave me 1-2 mini florets of cauliflower it’s really annoying and when I ask for more he gave me like 1 more tiny piece. I know this is due to management standards, I’m sure they are getting stricter and raising prices due to the economic situation/tariffs/inflation but if that is the case maybe they can just charge extra for certain items (like how guac at chipotle is extra) not make me ask them over and over to even get the food I want. I don’t love the prices of anything nowadays but paying more for a bowl of really good food (I really do love their bowls) is justifiable to me, but having to talk to employees like they’re unable to understand me is not a good situation for me OR them, it puts them in a shitty position because then customers will think they are stupid/difficult. I really have a bad taste in my mouth over this even though the bowl...
Read moreBrassica is hands-down one of the most delicious food places you can go to in this area. As someone of a Middle Eastern background, I would not necessarily call this a 100% authentic Middle Eastern experience. However, when you focus on certain elements, like their falafel or the sauces, and certain other elements they provide, those definitely hit the mark at being authentic. We Arab folks just don’t typically make bowls like this traditionally. So if you’re looking for traditional Arabic food, this is not necessarily the place to go. However, if you are looking for delicious food, this is 1000% the place to go. Every single element that they offer for the bowls has flavor and is delicious. Very unique concept. You could combine their ingredients anyway you want and no matter what you will not be lacking in flavor or texture. It’s not somewhere where the bases are bland and you have to drench everything in sauce to have a good meal. It is completely worth the price because the quality and the flavors of the food is unmatched. After our first time going there, we craved it every week since. The cookie are also delicious. The decor is awesome. I will say that they have a longer line than most places, but obviously that speaks for itself because this place...

My wife and I visited Brassica for the first time today, I specifically said, "Let us know if anything is of extra cost before you put it in the sandwich." She assured me that everything was included in the price of the protein. I then replied, saying, "Thank you, and this is our first time here." She simply said, "Ok."
After choosing falafel, I went to checkout and requested my order to go. The checkout person said, “Oh-no,” but didn’t communicate anything about the promotion, which felt dismissive. I paid for the food without fully understanding what happened.
Later, we discovered on their website that today was a special promotion offering free falafel sandwiches for dine-in customers in celebration of Earth Day. Unfortunately, no one mentioned this to us while we were there. I called the manager, who apologized but didn’t address the issue of poor communication. This lack of transparency feels intentional and cost us a special promotion. I’d recommend caution if considering...
