I have been waiting to go to this place since the opening. I really love the atmosphere and want them to do well. However, after my experience today they definitely have some work to do. We had a late lunch there today. The food was not bad and drinks were ok. First impression nice fun atmosphere and would be a cool place to watch a game. Got closer and the floors were sticky and a bunch of tables had yet to be cleared. Glasses on the table were very dirty (“waitress told us their dishwasher was messed up”). Bathrooms didn’t seem like they’ve been cleaned at all. I wanted to give the waitress the benefit of the doubt due to the staffing but she forgot everything we asked for and would just blame it on everyone else she works with. I was especially turned off when we asked for more water and as she was clearing the table beside us she just gave us the people’s water carafe that was sitting beside us moments earlier. She said “it looks like they haven’t touched it so you guys can have it”. Overall I give them 3/5 because it has the potential to be a great place but I think their mgmt should work with their staff. I’d like to try this place again but definitely not going...
Read moreI gave this place a second chance and I shouldn’t have. The first time I came here the espresso martini was so bad I wanted to gag. I figured I’d try it again because they have a life sized Taylor Swift cutout at the entrance. Big mistake. I witnessed the bartender continuously scooping ice with the glass it was supposed to be in which is an industry standard red flag 🚩They charge an obscene amount of money for their drinks; not in my opinion but by fact! I lived in Chicago and Miami and they have prices compared to major cities with incredible bartender’s and service. It’s unacceptable in my opinion for Westlake, OH. Then they have the audacity to START their gratuity options at 20%, then 25% and lastly at 30%. I have worked in this industry since I was 14 years old, and I personally think that is unacceptable, especially for the prices they charge and the restaurant that is provided to the guest. I won’t come back and I wouldn’t encourage anyone or any of my friends to spend money...
Read moreWe were excited to try this place, but it was a let down. Maybe it was an off day, but everything was off. I can’t speak for the whole menu, but the smash burger was very so-so. For an $18 burger, I definitely expected something much better. It was on par with a good fast food burger. The fries were entirely unremarkable. The kids grilled cheese meal was something you’d expect to get from a cafeteria.
The bathrooms were disgusting. A huge mess. Water and towels everywhere. The toilets clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a few days. Stuff was leaking. The sinks didn’t work.
The atmosphere was fine, but there was nothing special about it. It had the feel of a late night bar. But it was a Sunday afternoon.
All this would be fine/expected at a cheaper establishment. But the prices definitely make you expect more. $18 burger. $22 fish and chips. Main dishes $25-$35. Many better options with better food, cleaner, more affordable, and better atmosphere are...
