The Daily Grind Cafe — Restaurant in Westland

I come there everytime I'm at the mall today 3/10/18 I forgot my card in my jacket in my car and they already made my drink before being cashed out man who took my order was pissed at me... I told him I would be back and didn't care if it was watery from sitting.... I came back and the man through away my drink and told me the drink looked Disgusting I replied I told you I would have taken it either way because u already made it.... He replied well since you made me waste I'm charging you for a large and a small..... Never heard of that... Also for the fact #1 you made the drink before the purchase.. #2 I stated that I would take it watered down #3 you wasted it on purpose for what... Sooo I told him fine because I have the money for it and I'm not going to bring myself down a level.... Even though they charged me for two larges but like It was what ever... I work at a restaurant and have had many situations and never handled it like that.. I did not appreciate the rude behavior if you were having a bad day that's not my fault... I will come back and speak with you about this hope your not in...

The atmosphere of Westland mall is a far cry of what it once was. What was previously Cinnamon, to the moved Coffee Beanery, and now Daily Grind, I will gladly announce that I have had nothing but pleasant experiences the past few times I have been here. The prices are below average, while quality is above. There is a few convenience store elements here as well, such as honey buns and hot pockets. The coffee selection and flavours are fairly broad, and there is beans for sale here too. If you're at Westland mall, I would definitely recommend that you grab a coffee here. I went by today but I was shopping at Westland mall. The first time I passed by the coffee shop, there was a short lady with dark hair on the phone. I didn’t want to bother her so I just passed by. She was the only one working behind the counter. I came back and hour later, walked up to the counter and she was still on the phone. I said “oh… Are you too busy to make me something?“. She said “yes… I need to take this call can you come back later ?”. I couldn’t believe my ears… so arrogant.
