Would give zero if I could. Be prepared for a long review. On 4/16 my husband took my ring to be serviced. There was a bent shank. Upon measuring they stated a 6.5 husband called me to confirm. I said no it's been awhile but pretty sure im a size 7 I asked if I could come measure my finger before they sent it out. They held my ring but wrote up the work order. Made my way up there a couple days later I am infact a size 7. I had even asked if they could like in the system and confirm what size it was when we bought it because I've kept the same size. Ron who originally assisted us said it didn't show in the system. So they "added in the notes" a size 7 and sent it out. On 4/30 I called to check the status as my promised date was 4/30. Denisha looked it up and said "yes fixing the bent shank and resizing to 6.5 it's not back yet" I said "no it shouldn't be a 6.5 I came up and got my finger sized before you sent it our" she stated "oh yes I see it in the notes' I said "well with all due respect if you didn't see it at first how do we know the jeweler is going to see it" she said "no it's in the notes they will see it" 5/7 I get a text it's ready go to pick it up it's a size 6.5.... Becky assisted me (love her by the way super nice) I explained to her everything from the get. She showed me the order and said size 7 was not put in the notes ever. So Ron who originally did it didn't put it in a Denisha claimed she saw it (and lied) and instead of being proactive and correcting the issue before it came back let it be. They had to send it out again and put it on a rush order. Said id get a text when it goes out. 2 days past I didn't get a text so I called to make sure it went out. John told me it did but since it's a redo I wouldn't get notifications. I called Tuesday 5/20 to check the status and John said "it's not back yet someone is keeping an eye on it and will call you when it's in". Mind you at this point it's been almost 2 weeks on a "rush order" and John wasn't the most polite and infact seemed annoyed I continued to call for my WEDDING RING AND ENGAGEMENT RING. So I yelled. Mind you John knew everything that happened I told him and apparently Becky was supposed to fill him in. I'm not asking to be treated like royalty by any means but im a supervisor in customer service when you see issues have already happened... at least have a customer service "voice" not act/sound annoyed. I finally got corporate involved to make a complaint. Wednesday comes (the next day) I get a text it's ready and a missed call. I called the store to confirm it was there since I was told i wouldn't get texts. They said "no one called me" and it wasn't back yet. Thursday it's finally back and with my schedule couldn't get up there until today friday 5/23. It looks horrible. Its yellow on the inside of the ring almost looks burnt probably from the welding when they had to resize and it's completely not even. You have got to be kidding me. Its been over a month and a half and I still don't have my ring. I called corporate back and at this point a supervisor is handling it and I will send it out with them. I refuse to ever go back to this location or the 12 oaks location since apparently that's were the original person who messed this all up works (ron) I really enjoyed helzburgh up until this point but it seems like everyone is some type of "manager" there and not sure if this has been a change in management but I cannot believe all the problems that I have and still continue to have 1.5 months later. I wish I could post photos of how crappy of a job my ring...
Read moreI had the absolute WORST experience with this store and would highly NOT recommend purchasing from here. Do not accept help from anyone without getting their name... Long story short, I came in and was helped by a gentleman at the Westland Mall location. I opened a credit card account with them to order a name plate necklace. The representative first tried to manipulate and trick me into paying $1000 for a piece that usually costs $600. First red flag. He tried to bribe me with a lower monthly payment which was only $6 less than my current payments and +$500 on the total to get -$6 for 6 months just didn’t make sense to me. Anyway, I specifically expressed to him that I wanted my chain in YELLOW gold. White was NOT an option and I’d originally asked for ROSE gold which they did not carry. After 2 weeks a lady called me to inform me that my custom piece was ready.. I immediately planned a day to wear it assuming that my piece was ready and what I had asked for. I used my gas to drive 30 minutes only to find that the representative STILL ordered my piece in white gold. The lady who helped me that day insisted that the order will be expedited. Another WEEK later I called the store and simply asked if the piece had come in yet. Considering the fact that the purchase has ALREADY shown on my credit report and payment due date is near. The lady who answered the phone was very rude. She says “Uh, we’ll call you when your order is ready” basically saying don’t call me rushing me on an order I messed up and promised would be fixed in less time. No problem so I called who I thought was corporate they just transferred me back to the store who wouldnt agree to any compensation it is going on 4 weeks and I still haven’t received my piece that was supposedly ready just 2 weeks ago. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM HERE. These people are inconsiderate, incompetent, and obviously not “happy” to...
Read moreWORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! I'm not sure if we came on a bad day, but the lady that waited on us was the rudest sales person I have EVER met! One of my girlfriends had just gotten engaged, and wanted to get sized, since her new engagement ring was too small. She explained to the saleslady that she just wanted to check her size because she was pretty sure she was a 6 and her fiance thought she was a 5, and with being pregnant, she just wasn't sure anymore. The saleslady then, very disrespectfully, asked why they didn't get her sized when he bought the ring at the other store. Keeping quite calm, we replied that my girlfriend was not with her now fiance when he bought the ring, hence the mix-up. Again, the unpleasant saleslady replied nastily, asking why we didn't just go back to the place her fiance bought the ring to get sized. At this point, needless to say, we were all pretty fed up with her patronizing remarks, but again replied that the other store had just closed, and that she was just curious of the correct sizing. The saleslady FINALLY, but still reluctantly grabbed out the sizing rings and began the process. This wasted about 5-10 minutes of our time with her unprofessionally procrastinating before we received anything besides nasty remarks. After the sizing, we left that place knowing that none of us would EVER buy from Helzberg in the future because of this incident. A couple of days later, my girlfriend went to double check on the saleslady's sizing, because she was so rude and obviously untrustworthy, and it turned out she sized her WRONG!! The saleslady at Helzberg sized her at a 6.5, where she is really a 5.5 - 6. This could've been a mistake or oversight on behalf of the testy saleslady, but with how snide she acted, I wouldn't put it past her for that 'oversight' to have been...
