NOT THIS LOCATION. THE COMPANY SERVICE CENTER IS MY ISSUES. Kay has given me the absolute worst experience, and because they haven't gotten back to me in 6.5 weeks here I am. My fiance spent 3.5k on a ring and band set, only for a ring that diamonds fell out repeatedly. I work from home at a desk and don't do anything crazy. I take my ring off when I clean or do anything that could stress it. I did not even have my ring for a month before we had to take it in to be serviced. Over the 5 months since purchasing it, they had it longer than I did because it had to be serviced so frequently. In the beginning of March I took it in for the last time because more diamonds fell out, and I was informed I didn't even have the band we bought. So not only is my set faulty, but I also don't even have what I ordered! And how would I know when it has practically lived at the service center! Fast forward to March 27, the last time I personally heard from them. Around this time my fiance was told my ring would be replaced within 3-4 weeks. We are at week 6.5 and nothing. This is a luxury item, and it has felt anything but. I have been embarrassed to constantly tell friends and family that my ring is being serviced. The woman acknowledged I was there, and said they would be right with me. I patiently waited while they were waiting on their customers. A woman customer then walked in. Once the woman employee was done with her customer, she began waiting on the woman who walked in after me. She knew good and well I was there first, but decided to wait on the customer who came after me instead. I walked out and went to their competition where I got much better service. I spent $2,000 at their competitor. That's a sale this location would've had, but they lost due to poor service.
I don't really see any reason to call and discuss the situation. I've given all the information needed. You should be able to know who was working that night and take it up with the employees who were on duty. The person who thought it was a good idea to wait on the person who came in the store after me lost out on a sale. If they work on commission, she really lost out because I didn't need to get on a payment plan either. You can take it up directly with her. She asked what she could do to help us and I explained that I was there for the inspection and cleaning of my ring. She looked us up with no issues and noticed that I did not have the matching wedding band for my ring yet and asked if I would be interested in it. I have a special wedding band which is very personal so I explained that to her and she accepted it. I appreciated very much her not being pushy about trying to get us to buy the matching band. She proceeded to do the inspection and cleaning of my ring while my husband and I looked around the store. I saw several items that I would just love to have but fell in love with one piece. When she was done cleaning my ring she brought it back to me and told me everything was good with my ring. She asked if there was something we wanted to look at and we told her yes. The entire time, she was not pushy. While she was ringing up the order she offered the warranty and explained what was included with the warranty. We purchased the warranty without hesitation.
