Food was decent but the manager Matt is a royal jerk. Poor customer service, and breaks food safety rules. (I am a certified food safety manager and been in the industry since I was 15!) I couldn't believe his fragrant disregard of health code which would have been an auto fail had a health department employee been there. Highly disappointing and saddens me since previously i would have given 5 stars. But customer service was poor. The only highlight is the 5 star employee attitude had by our cashier, Seth. He was a delight. The rest was sad. Asked to speak with a different manager who came out after we waited a good 5 minutes or more for her to come out of the back. She looked as if she didnt want to be there at all talking to me as a guest and tried to give us a run around the entire time we spoke. Almost not even letting me finish telling her what was wrong. Honestly felt like my complaint fell on deaf ears. She tried to defend his actions and that made me more upset because I know if it were my employee I wouldn't have defended anything, I would have apologized and told my guest I would talk to the person who caused the issue. Over all again, a very sad and most definitely my last visit to this Panera. It will be a very long time before I spend even one cent with Panera anywhere after...
Read moreYesterday evening, my family and I ordered food for 4 people. When we got to the restaurant to pick up our order, we realized our bag was missing several items, and had several items we did not order added in. We took it back and found out that the employees had mixed up 3 different orders and indiscriminately thrown items from each order into 3 different bags. They then proceeded to rescramble the orders, tearing open sandwich wrappers and tossing things in bags and rehanding them out to people, only to still get the orders wrong 4 more times. By the time we got our food, none of the wrappers on sandwiches were closed and the salad containers were covered in sticky fingerprints. I ordered a turkey Avocado blt and a green goddess Cobb salad. My blt was manhandled and falling apart and did not have any bacon on it. It did however have a a very large garnishing of Avocado peel. My salad was also missing bacon, as well as missing Avocado and the signature green goddess dressing. Instead they had put fuji apple dressing in my container. The food was cold, soggy, and had been touched all over by grody gloves. I didn't finish the salad as it was missing half the ingredients and I don't like fuji apple dressing. Read moreWell, this was one of the worst Panera experiences I've had in a while. I guess the restaurant was short staffed, and they got a lot of on-line and in-store orders at once. But, everyone was waiting for a LONG time! There was a line inside that wrapped around the corner of the pick-up area. The manager was trying really hard to keep up, but she just didn't have enough help. They tried filling on-line orders, but the line inside got out of hand. Then a woman comes in to pick up her on-line order and they told her it would be an hour. Just no way to catch up! In addition, our order was wrong, (we got a cup of soup instead of a bowl), and we auromatically got chips insted of being adked what side we wanted. Also, I went up to get a cookie after our meal which used to be 99 cents with a meal, but they charged me $2.95. The good news is that my soup was piping hot, which is always a plus, and my frontaga chicken sandwich was really good, as usual! And, sitting at a table by the fire was...
