My friend from Arizona turned me on to Raising Cane's when I was living in Colorado. This is the closest location to where I live. It's like a hour away from home, but if we ever find ourselves heading this direction we get it.
The chicken is always high quality, fresh breaded, & made to order. The Texas Toast is an S Tier bread side up there with Olive Garden bread sticks and cheddar bay biscuits. (I'd say it's better) The fries are pretty standard crinkle cut fries. They usually are made crispy enough. The coleslaw is pretty mid and lacks the acidic flavor I like in a coleslaw. I get it but you can substitute it out for something else free of charge. The Cane's Sauce is what everyone is crazy for! It has a tangy slightly spicy flavor that has not been replicated successfuly anywhere else. (Walmart has a copycat Cane's Sauce, but it is really sweet and tastes of Miracle Whip for some reason. Do not recommend.) Cane's Sauce is the whole point of going to Raising Cane's. I personally love it 9/10, but that missing point is an important one. For me I cannot consume more than two cups of it in one sitting without it feeling overwhelming.
Box Combo should be all you need. Caniac Combo if you're really hungry. I wouldn't bother with the Tender Sandwich as you can make a better one on your own using their Texas Toast. If you don't like coleslaw sub it out for extra toast. Order one extra Cane's Sauce. To drink their lemonade is good, and their sweet tea stands out from others. Half and half is not a bad move. Of course there are standard Coke products available too.
Service is quick, & friendly. I like how when they bring your food out they yell "Hot fresh chicken for INSER_NAME!"
As far as atmosphere. They tend to keep their restaurants cleaner than most. It runs pretty standard modern fast food place. There are just pictures of the founder's dog Cane everywhere as he is the namesake of the chain.
Overall If you like chicken tenders, you'll love...

The Good We went to Raising Cane’s for the first time and ordered the 3 and 4 chicken finger platters (pictured), that came with crinkle cut fries, coleslaw and a beverage. The coleslaw was the only thing the I can say was even close to good, but would rate it mediocre.
The Bad The chicken fingers tasted of stale frying oil, I have no idea when the last time was that they changed it. The crinkle cut fries were barely cooked and were not crisp or even slightly brown at all. The lemonade that I purchased was advertised as being “fresh” but tasted like it was made from a powder mix. The inside of the restaurant wreaked of frying oil, so much so that we had to dine outside due to the stench, thank goodness it was a nice day.
The Summary For a fast food joint that only provides chicken fingers, fries and coleslaw you would think their food would be out of this world, but I found it to be very subpar. The establishment was very clean inside but the stench of the frying oil inside was very overwhelming. I finished my meal but walked away feeling underwhelmed and extremely disappointed. The next time I want chicken fingers I’ll just stop at Royal Farms because they have never disappointed. Needless to say, this was the first and last time that I will be dining at any...
Read moreI'll start by saying the chicken was cooked very well! It was crispy, hot , and juicy! Aside from that it was one of the more average bland meals I've ever had. The chicken had zero spices or anything that resembled flavor. It was chicken breaded in plain flour and it definitely tasted as such. The fries weren't bad, but not great. I've made better at home in my toaster oven. The bread that came with the meal was far and away the best part. It was toasted well, and booming with flavor! Definitely the best thing we ate that day. And the sauce. The sauce that was so hyped, put up so high on a pedestal. I guess if you like a weird pepper version of mayo then that sauce is for you. All in all, I would say that this place definitely did not live up to the hype. The sentiments that I shared here in this review were audibly being talked about by almost every table around me in the restaurant, the weekend of the opening. What this place would be good for is if you ordered a bunch of the chicken strips and took them home. And tossed them in your favorite hot sauce or barbecue sauce. If raising canes was ever to change their breading recipe or even provide other sauces for dipping and make a better french fry, we may...
