I know the food and brewery are under separate ownership, but the food has went down hill since earlier in the year. Used to be my favorite burger place. They weren't even that busy tonight. First ordered 3 meals that took half hour reasonable at the time since there were more people and then ordered a to go burger. At the time most customers had left and Tons of tables still open and I waited over an hour for a to go burger. I was thrilled when Short Story opened up a location in Morgantown, and even more thrilled when I learned that The Burger Place was going to be a part of the location. Short Story's beers are always fabulous, and the accessibility of this location is such a treat. This is such a beautiful space with a great outdoor area that I can't wait to take advantage of in the spring. So excited to FINALLY have a Short Story location here in Morgantown! I’m so happy they were able to land this spot too - this riverside brewpub is a vibe!! Incredible beer, with an incredible view of the Mon. And if you’re not a beer drinker, they have wine, cocktails, and non-alcoholic options. The food is great too! Lefty’s knocked it out of the park with the burgers - tasted amazing, and the pricing is fair for the portions and quality (Village Butcher meat for the win).
