Doc's Landing — Restaurant in White Bear Lake

Well ther was a shooting outside of the bar last time I went ther was last Thursday and it was fine and that was a few days ago ...but sunday am was good up until i heard the gun shot outside right next to the bar and i know they investigate to actually see if bullet went thrue from outside to inside according to the mediea ther was no threat to the bar the guy in the red shiry told everyone he got grazed and he was sitting four seats away from me didint make sense i belieave he was outside wen it went on out ther ...they need sercuity in ther.offsley God is giving me a sign of danger in that place . .the young bartender the woman rolled her eyes at me wen I asked for service ...I really like Kevin and Dave but sat night put pressure on Kevin and it was a different kind of atmosphere...they claim wen I was ther on sat that wen the shot went off outside the bullet went thrue building but according to the article thers no threat to the public but how did the guy sitting 4 seats away from me get grazed I think he was outside wen the shooting took place wat was weird is the bartender had the bullet that they found on the floor...I feel bad for the owner I know Kevin is a good guy this isn't fair to the public ...I will probly go back but certain bartenders are rude and i give um tips Kevin and Dave are good I've had other problems ther just with the service ..the one thing that I know wen this happand on Sunday is I wasn't scared...sorry I hope the owner gets to the bottom of this he's a good guy inside and out...I think Kevin saved are lives in that place because he has active shooting training and he didint lock us in I think that he handled it well been going to docs sense I moved to this area in 2001 first Time I witnessed that..ducking rolling hiding in areas to be safe i really hope it doesn't get inside meaning somone bad with a gun that's why mn needs to get to the bottom of illegally gun selling ...all the family and friends I no have a concealed to carry and they are good people...so...

Good local watering hole with an awesome taco truck out back (That is a separate business just for Google records lol), but when it comes to bar service it lacks effort on the utmost front. When I'm sitting here ordering casa Azul shots at $25 each and I have to wait 25 minutes to get service, There is a huge issue! I'll spend EASLY 200 just in casa Azul shots (that's 8 shots), but If I'm waiting 25 to 35 minutes each time I go to the bar to order that gives a whole lackluster feeling to even go in there...... TF am I spending this kind of money if the bartenders aren't being attentive to anybody that's not flirting with them at that point . I will be specific because I have yet to see a female bartender but The male bartenders definitely need to do better on recognizing who's spending money and being attentive to them And not just the cute girls that are flirting with them to get free drinks. I'm all for waiting my turn at the bar but if I'm spending this kind of money at a LOCAL BAR not DOWNTOWN STP OR MPLS and I'm just waiting 30mins behind people buying regular ass beers then there is a huge issue. Either get MORE bartenders OR get more...

Racist bar. Me and my group of friends were trying to come and have a quick drink because it was the night before my brother‘s wedding when our evening quickly came to a halt because they tried to tell us we all needed a real ID. how can you enforce a law that has not even went into effect yet. Yet we could look in the windows and see the whole bar full of people you can’t tell me all those people had real IDs already not to mention the majority of them were white people in my whole party was black. They also said that the change went into fact, just 20 minutes ago from us arriving. Where is the sign posted to warn people if those are your rules you should be posting them. I guess you didn’t want the hundreds of dollars we were coming in there to spend and have a good time with. I definitely will not be back and sharing the pettiness with everyone I know. the whole purpose of the real ID is for traveling or entering federal buildings since when has Doc’s bar become a federal building.
