Taco Bell — Restaurant in Maplewood

Good really needs to give an option for zero stars. This place deserves it. When we got there 3 young men were ordering at the kiosk, 2 young ladies were at a table waiting for their food, and a door dasher was standing near the counter waiting. It wasn't busy, no cars in the drive through until after we had waited for 30 minutes. We placed a simple order for 3 tacos, a 4 pack of chicken taco rolls, nacho cheese and chips, and 2 pops. We sat and waited for 45 MINUTES for our food. By the time we got it we were pretty heated. Also, the girls who came before us were still waiting on an order, and the girl had gone to the counter twice to ask about her order and they kept telling her they were in a shift change and refused to give her the cup for her pop while she waited. They were incredibly RUDE to her and gave her nasty looks. I finally walked up and told them the appropriate thing to do would be to ask her for her name and ensure they get on her order immediately because she is still waiting and we came after her. Turned out they had her order but never called her up. SO. FREAKING. BAD. Not to mention, all 3 of my tacos were completely crushed when I finally got my order and it was impossible to eat without a mess. We will NEVER, EVER, be back. Please train your staff or get better ones. So unhappy with my experience. We will never dine here (or any other store that uses the ordering kiosk!) Again! We arrived and there was no one taking orders. We HAD to use the kiosk to place our orders. There were 3 of us (2 had special abilities). The way we had to order was complex and no one of course was helping us. It took forever to place 3 orders, it asked us what kind of pop we wanted - when we choose our own anyway as it's self service 🙄, when we finally got to the end of our order it wanted my phone number (or email I believe) to finish, then it would NOT print me a receipt! It wanted my personal info so it could email or text me. That does NOT work when my clients need a paper one for their records! A guy came out from behind the counter and asked how it was going?... I told him "Horrible and we will not return" I asked him to give me a paper receipt. He gave me 3 and when we got home I realized that NONE of them were even our order! Now another Job taken away and replaced by a stupid computer that will not answer questions or give us a receipt. I watched as people behind the counter sat around and talked and here they could have helped us. SHAME on you TACO BELL! I WISH we had a ZANTIGO in Maplewood!! Their food is actually real food that doesn't make you sick the same day and actually tastes good!!! We will...

I live just down the road from this Taco Bell and I always tend to hit it up on my way to work, it's cheap, it's tasty and it's always quickly made. I am a vegan, and they always accommodate my specially-made meals perfectly. They also always give me extra veggies so my tacos aren't skimpy and sad for the price that I'm paying. I'm super grateful for this location never letting my tacos be contaminated with things that I cannot have. They are always on point with service, super friendly and very quick at what they do no matter how busy it is. Mad respect for this Taco Bell location and all the people that work there, they do a fantastic job! Love the food, appreciate the good service, overall really good location. The store is always clean, the bathrooms are always clean, the sauces & utensils are always stocked, garbages are never overflowing... This place must be really well-managed because they have a five-star out of me....
