I am a truck driver. I like to try any local place I can rather than the same old chain stuff. Support local or you'll only have yourself to blame when it's not there anymore. Plus, how many vacation homes do CEOs need? Ordered for delivery to my truck (10-10 23). They were friendly on the phone. My pizza arrived right when they said it would. The guy who delivered my pizza was friendly and courteous. He found my truck without having to call for further instructions (that isn't as common as you might think it would be). I have had a lot of different pizza in a lot of different cities, mostly delivered to my truck while parked in places where I didn't have many if any, options for hot food. This pizza wasn't just good, it was GREAT! I got an XL Mega Meat but added black olives, mushrooms, extra cheese, and jalapenos. It's huge! Packed with toppings, too, but that'll be good for me. Most places I get a large pizza, usually about 14 inches, and I'll eat half the pizza. I don't think I finished a quarter of this one. Now I'll be able to enjoy this FABULOUS PIZZA as leftovers for a couple days. Thank you, Ange's Pizza for the great food and great service. Love it! And I really hope I will get a chance to order from y'all again! Now, for...

At 8:40 pm my order had not arrived so I called the store and was told that the employee had written down my card number wrong. Plus, the employee had not taken my phone number down so they could not call me back. I was told that they would be seeing me "very shortly". Forty minutes later...still no pizza, so called and cancelled. First, it seems a little risky these days for companies to be writing down credit card numbers on paper (even if they are incorrect). Second, it seems like the employees should be trained to write down phone numbers so customers can be reached. I've only had this pizza one other time, and I admit that it was good, but this experience definitely turned me off from this company. Maybe your experience will be different.
As an end note, my card was charged for the order. Another person posted a comment stating they never received a refund for their order that had issues too. I will update this post in the future (one way or another) based upon whether I am credited...
ย ย ย Read moreI grew up eating Ange's Pizza; the flavors are like mother's milk. It is the ultimate comfort food. This is the first location; my dad remembers the original owners from his childhood in Whitehall. I remember going there in the 90s when they had numerous (dusty) trophies in the window dating back to the 1970s.
The prices are good, the sauce is spicy and plentiful, they load the pizzas up with cheese so you don't need to order extra (unless you like cheese on top of your pepperoni). They have the small pepperoni that curls into grease-filled cups as they bake. Their mushrooms are canned, which usually isn't my preference, but they soak up the grease and taste amazing. I like to pull my pizzas apart and eat each piece separately sometimes and this pizza is ideal. Their stromboli is excellent and comes with an entire pie pan full of sauce. They also have good salads and carry Marzetti's dressing, including the best flavor-- House Italian. Their subs are toasted and have plenty of meat on them. I cannot recommend Ange's...
