Usually I have a wonderful experience with this place. However, today I dealt with a female foreigner, she appeared short. I was giving her my order for a Venti Caramel Frappuccino with a Turkey and cheese breakfast sandwich. She rushed me while I was ordering. Once I came up to the drive through she was very short with me. She was not polite and had an attitude. (I understand her issue was not with me. However in my opinion, that is poor customer service.) She proceeded to hand me my food, afterwards she grab the machine with an attitude, she placed the machine super close to the window. I had reach out of my car to tap the card reader. I did not see the screen. I asked her for my receipt. She give it to me with an attitude. I was highly offended. I checked my receipt, it was five dollars more than my order originally. I asked her what is a "gratuity charge"? She grabbed her male manager. He was polite and helped me every step of the way. I was at ease once he came to the window. However, I was not fond of the statement "you must of tapped the $5 dollar option". I hope he understands that lady did not give me the option to see the screen. I appreciate the fact that he provided EXCELLENT customer service skills and showed me everything step by step. I hope to have a happy transaction per usual.
Side note, I hope the young lady knows I watched her step by step. Their was an older male who appeared to be the same ethnic background as her. She was super friendly with him. I couldn't understand why I was not able to receive the same service. I also hope she understands that "Attitude" is highly contagious. Read moreUpdate October 6, 2022: Now where was the nice guy from yesterday? Yet another employee has messed up the $6.05 Iced Toasted Vanilla Oat-milk Shaken Espresso. The girl did not even put any espresso at all in the drink and hit the Vanilla Syrup pump a million times. When I asked what drink she was making she confirmed it was what I ordered, indicating it calls for "5 pumps" of the Vanilla Syrup. OMG!!!!!!!!!!! When the guy who knows what he is doing is not there it is a total mess here. I just paid $6.05 for a Venti Oat-milk with 5 pumps of Vanilla Syrup? UGH. I had to go to the Starbucks location on S. Hamilton near Winchester for the right one, as my daughter knew immediately there was no coffee in the drink she buys EACH AND EVERY DAY. The pic of the nothing but Oat-milk and Vanilla is from E. Broad St/Target location. The pic with the darker color and cream look is the correct way to make ICED TOASTED VANILLA OAT-MILK SHAKEN ESPRESSO. This place just took yet another $6.05 for something I did not order.
October 5, 2022 *This is the ABSOLUTE BEST STARBUCKS IN THE CITY - PERIOD!! Always friendly and professional no doubt yet today the young man who I believe may be management waived my fee on the Venti Iced Toasted Vanilla Shaken Expresso. He said it did not sit well with him how I was overcharged and the experience I had on an alternate day so he allowed a free drink. How nice was that ❤️
So appreciative for his gesture, he has redeemed Starbucks as a whole and deserves recognition. Thank you sir- you made my daughter and my day.
in columbus for a work trip, this starbucks is 5 mins from a base i work at so i decided to stop. i need to eat because im pregnant and have alot to take. ordering the staff member was friendly but the chinese gentleman at the window was soo rude at 8am. i had 324 points and i asked himnif i could use them he said “just give me the phone to scan”. i asked “are u sure i dont have to click at register or anything like other locations”. he proceeded to rudely say “i said just give me the phone to scan”. then after he proceeded with “came out to $5.00”, which i didnt understand because i have 324 points and 15$ on my gift card. i then asked him “what do you mean i have money on the card, “he said i know i already took it off”. idk this was just a horrible experience all the way down to asking for a straw and he chunked it at me. im a REGULAR starbucks customer bc i travel alot for work. to be treated like this early in the morning and i am a loyal customer who has even collected hundreds of points is unbelievable.
