Fashion City — Local services in Whitehall

Can you give their service no stars. First and foremost don't place your store in a predominately black neighborhood and treat your patrons like we all want to steal. I stopped in your store one day desperately in search of a white shirt for a church program. I clearly explained that to the sales woman. I'm aware that people may purchase an item, wear it, and return it. Unfortunately, that is retail. I paid cash for a 75 dollar shirt and expressed that it may have to be returned. As pretty as the shirt was, it didn't work for what I needed for and I had to return it. Let me again express the shirt was white. It is almost impossible to wear anything white for any amount of time without leaving dirt or residue. Upon return this woman inspected this shirt like she was looking for DNA. I thought to myself, "Wow". I'm usually the last person to post comments about service or rather lack of but I truly felt the need. I also haven't returned.

I'm a working class woman; not rich by any means but but able to afford what I want. I don't need to steal, additionally I don't want to shop at any store that thinks everyone that walks inside is there to take from them. My suggestion would be to move your store down the road to Bexley, perhaps your staff may feel more comfortable. Again, shopping while black. It continues to exist and we want to turn...

DO NOT SHOP HERE! I went in to purchase a dress for my daughter with her best friend’s family for a special event. When we walked in, we were greeted with dirty looks by two women who I later found out that they were the owners. We started looking through the dresses that were very difficult to maneuver through. While searching through the dresses I noticed that they were torn, damaged, dirty, and most had been previously worn. However, we continued to look and found a few to try on. My daughter and her friend were trying on dresses in the dressing room when we were approached by a young girl who began yelling at us about where to put the dresses while waiting. I told her that this was our first time in the store and we were not aware of how they wanted things because there were signs stating this. I looked for the owner because this individual was dressed as if she had just woke up and was filthy. The older lady then came over and acted as if she was scared of the girl and took the dresses. We were then advised that we would not be sold anything for no reason at all. Long story short, they do not like anyone of color in their store and the clothing is WORN AND EXTREMELY DIRTY! Please do not waste your time, go to David’s Bridal where the prices are much better, the dresses will be NEW, and you will be...

This place has the most horrible customer service and a faulty return policy. I literally went in the store yesterday and purchased a pair of black boots. The older Asian woman followed me around the store and didn’t ask to assist me instead gave a vibe as though I would steal something. I no longer needed the boots I purchased as they didn’t fit my needs so I called their store directly, regarding coming up to return the shoes. The woman told me no returns it’s just a final sale, and then proceeded to advised I could speak with their manager come Monday. She also stated there is a sign on the front cashier counter and they advise every customer of this policy. When letting her know that would be unacceptable as there was no sign advising of such policy and she did not tell me this verbally she hangs up the phone on me.
