Panda Express — Restaurant in Whittier

This location is very frustrating. The (kids) working here seem to have no direction at all, they lack training it seems. The food portions are insufficient, compared to the above average prices paid. The food preparation seems as if it is a task needed to be learned on a daily basis. The servers don't seem to be communicating with the cooks that the food bins are close to empty, or indeed empty, causing a line of customers to wait for the food to come out. The manager (if any) seems detached of any employee training liabilities . The parent company apparently pledged $9 million for children's hospital, and that's fine, but we all know that the customers whom they ask every single day for donations won't receive any credit while the CEO basks in the limelight. I have donated my changw at this location a dozen times already, and they still keep asking, I said no more my last visit. You would think they would serve larger portions because of the charity-they don't ! It's a simple concept...keep the food bins full, keep the facility clean, serve the customer, charge the customer, then move on to the next. That's how restaurants (not)...

Damn Alan, barely made it not too long before close. Decided to not eat in to make it a little easier on ya and not be rude. Shoulda called ya out on it but not today I guess. Had to come back and write a review for the smallest portions I've received at panda before. Made me laugh, I guess thats why I didn't say anything. But come on man, you're about to close. How ya going to give even less than regular portions? Only reason it's 3 stars, is because the lovely female workers energy made it a little lighter. Lighten up Alan, don't be scared of a little greatness, ya can help out a bit more, it won't hurt...

This is the best Panda Express I've been to! The place is immaculate, the service is great, wall mounted TV's giving the histoy behind Panda Express, they actually have Asian employees preparing and serving the food in "uniforms"! I was soooooo impressed with this place....the food was great and nice big portions. The store Managers happened to be at the store when I visited and had to shake their hands on a spectacular store! I live in LA...the Panda Express on Figueroa is HORRID, tiny store, unfriendly staff w/'tudes, very limitied parking.....I'll visit the store in Whittier when I'm the area. I highly...
