Casa de Cafe — Restaurant in Whittier

my coworker and I came here on our break and the coffee drinks are a solid 7 out of 10. we had an encounter with a women who was very rude and seemed to look down on us. it was our first time at this coffee shop so we took some time looking through the menu. for the sake of courtesy to the one person behind us I asked if she would like to go first. to which she replied in a very condescending and rude tone, "yes, yes I would ". we moved over and I continued looking through the menu. my coworker overherd the women's conversation with the man at the register. she spoke to him in the same rude and condescending tone. while hearing the conversation we realized she was the OWNER. even though we ordered and enjoyed our coffee we decided next time we will take our peasant...

When I go to a new place I've never been before, first thing I notice is CUSTOMER SERVICE and this place does not have it!!! The girls behind the counter have an attitude and look miserable...the dudes might be even worse!

If you don't have something specific on the menu, than take it off!!! I tried to order 3 different things and was told "we don't have that." I asked her if they were out just for the day and she said "no...we don't sell that anymore." Really? 🙄 Was forced to order a "crepe." Umm...Their "crepes" aren't really crepes! 🤢🤮

I feel like these 5 star reviews for them are all friends and family of the staff. Ain't no way this place is that good! Don't see this place being open much...

What ia all the negativity about? This place is MAGNIFICENT. per your recommendation is tried the peach hot tea and yhe Nutella crepe with banana AND strawberries DELICIOSO!!!! The young lady at yhe trgister was SUPER friendly and courteous. They also have self-service ordering screen. The music is so spot on. I sat near the small table located right in front of yhe register eith my back st thr outside. 8 felt transported to my bello ENSENADA if only gir a second. Highly highly recommend. Definitely coming back with the fambam i then sat outside admiring the view check out the video I uploaded. Feel the serenity AND tranquility of my lovely city.
