Just really frustrated with my experience here. I was standing in the store for maybe 5-8 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and said they’ll be with me. Once I was helped I let them know I accidentally made 2 online orders and if I can cancel one, the guy said no which is fine but he began to explain why they can’t kind of frantically which is also fine but I wasn’t making a fuss I just needed a yes/no answer. The guy says my order is ready but only 1 drink out of 3 are made and he’s kind of just staring at me like if I had a question so I ask if the other 2 are ready and he said no and showed me the stickers that go on the drink and frantically explained why it isn’t ready, so finally I just said it’s fine give them to someone in the drive thru or keep them for the employees, the guy was insistent on me coming back another time for these drinks but I insisted I won’t be coming back and really it’s fine to give them to someone else since they are paid for already, I had to tell another employee the same thing because the other guy was either not listening to my words or is already stressed from the busy drive thru line. I came into the situation pretty calmly and the employee is stressing out and answering me like if I came at him like a Karen, I am not one to give any attitude and am actually very patient so I’m confused by the frantic personality I was receiving. Anyways, by the time I leave I am already late for my boyfriends lunch and there weren’t any other issues for me until I realized that my drink has whipped cream on it and I am lactose intolerant and asked for almond milk and no whipped cream. How can I trust that my entire drink doesn’t have regular milk in it? I literally couldn’t drink it since it was getting watered down in dairy by the time I picked it up so it doesn’t make sense that the other 2 drinks weren’t ready to begin with, so in the end I ended up late for someone’s lunch and I had no drink. I just hope that they made the 2 drinks for someone else otherwise I feel like my money went to waste since I’m...
Read moreI always go through the drive thru at Dunkin and always get the coffee. There is something about the coffee that is so wonderful in the morning. The price is reasonable and sometimes I reheated the coffee the next day. So much better than the coffee at SB. The bacon, egg and cheese croissants are the best and next is the cream cheese and bagel. I use the drive thru and the service is fairly quick and friendly. The coffee keeps me coming back even if they aren't serving breakfast sandwiches.
Edit: Lately I've noticed that the coffee I received has been lukewarm. It's hit and miss. Sometimes it's hot and good, other times I drive away and get down the road and the hot coffee is actually room temperature. I've stopped patronizing the Whittier store because I've been to the Wilmington and Long Beach stores and never had these issues. They were good when they first opened but I've noticed that their business has declined lately. I tried to patronize good businesses during the pandemic however it seems like service has taken a major hit since businesses have opened back up. Won't be going back to this Dunkin again... One too many times that I've been burned by...
Read moreBeen trying to get powdered lemon donuts for a couple months but never in stock, along with many other varieties missing. Most times I walk in the attendants or baristas never pay attention to the counter or inside customer bur instead cater to, and fawn over the drive through crowd. The drive through line snakes up the center of the parking lot and makes it difficult for anyone to park for inside dining. Two weeks ago I walked in, and right back out, because there was nothing much to choose from. The store seems to be suffering from a lack of steady employees as there are different people working each time I visit, I saw only one person working the 10am shift on 5/5/22 and I don't think I was even noticed at the counter before I again walked out. Went to my 2nd choice- YumYum donuts which is one mile away from Dunkin located on Telegraph&Painter S/E corner, and satisfied my cravings for a powdered lemon donut, and because YYD is cheaper, I walked away with extra glaze twists and chocolate donuts plus a house coffee for what it costs to buy 2 lemon donuts plus a Lg caramel...
