Wedding Catering: Five Stars all around for Steve’s BBQ!!

Steve’s has always been our go-to date spot so when it came down to planning our wedding, they were our first choice for dinner. From start to finish the experience was hands down AMAZING!! Josh is so easy to work with and literally offered everything under the sun. He is very organized and takes detailed notes. My husband and I were also very surprised to learn that they were able to offer more than just BBQ items for the menu. Everything at our tasting was delicious!! It was hard to pin down our choices but once we did we knew we had something for everyone.

Our menu was as follows… Appetizers: Bruschetta, Hot Links & the most delicious Crab Cakes you’ve ever had!!

Dinner: Baby Back Ribs, Chicken, Mac & Cheese (a total no brainer since it’s our favorite), Collard Greens & dinner rolls. They also provided a BBQ style veggie option for a friend of ours. She said portobello mushroom never tasted so good!

Steve’s BBQ was a full service operation, they provided the disposable plates and rolled flatware. Offered tray pass service for cocktail hour and even bussed after dinner. My wedding planner had nothing but positive feedback to provide as well.

Overall, my husband and I are so happy we were able to have Josh, Eric and the Steve’s BBQ team as part of our special day. This restaurant already held a special place in our hearts but now it’s forever part of our love story. THANK YOU STEVE’S BBQ!!...

Pandemic review: night visit; dine-in

Pros: Good restaurant to grab a relaxing bite with friends. Serve alcohol; happy hour available. Very clean dining room. Dine-in and Outdoor available. Delicious smokey taste. If you order an appetizer, your food will arrive shortly after :)

Cons: On the pricier side but seems right for the area. The seats do not breath, expect to walk out with some moisture (lol); AC would alleviate this. Small food portions; however, I do eat a lot. My meat was somewhat dry. The chili verde fries were WAY over salted, but amazing aside from that. I found a termite indoors? My tables' order was wrong.

I was not informed that the Mac n Cheese was an additional charge. Servers weren't as attentive to our table (of minorities). Given our check sooner than other tables--who were already eating when we were seated and they still haven't left by the time we did. Not blaming any specific employee, maybe it was coincidence?

I think I found a termite? I told the waiter to let the manager or property manager know to inspect for termite damage. They said it was probably from outside.

Overall, I would maybe eat at this place again if I'm with my associates but I would definitely get...

Everyone at Steve’s BBQ…. Literal angels!!!!

My husband and I recently got married and we had Steve’s cater for us. When I say the whole team, especially Josh, went above and beyond to make sure our day was PERFECT, they did just that.

We had a few in person meetings at the restaurant and every single time we walked in, we were always happily greeted (and had the best dinners). Josh took care of us from begging to end… And he did way more than I was ever expecting. He helped us not only with the food (dinner AND a charcuterie board for cocktail hour) but he also helped us with things that didn’t cross our minds: plates, utensils, linen, keeping the food hot, what we were going to do with leftover food, etc… He also helped set up other things that were part of the wedding that he definitely didn’t have to do! He did constant check ins as we got closer to the wedding and whenever I had a question, he was right on it.

The food….. We had ribs, chicken, mac and cheese, loaded mashed potatoes and salad…. Everyone at the wedding, including ourselves, just wanted to keep eating because of how amazing it was! Even days after the wedding, I had people ask where the food was from because they had to have it again.

My family and I enjoy having dinner there and having them be part of our special day...
