Smoothie King — Restaurant in Wichita Falls

Dina the owner called and was very apologetic and wanted to make things right. I went back in and received my drinks that were great. Very busy place and people moving fast to get orders placed.

This was my first review and first ever visit. Owner called to reconcile this situation. Stopped and went inside to look over menu. Lady pulled up as I was getting out and ran in ahead of me. She had an issue or something with her charges. I sat there and waited. She then walked back out to the car. I asked if I could order since I had to go somewhere. They said no they would finish with her. I asked again if I could just place my order since she isn’t ordering and already has hers. They said no so I waited and she finally came back in and they were going back and forth on some issue rather than taking care of me. She was trying to get some discount. Great experience! The smoothie was pretty standard from the regular quality, and taste you'll find at any other Smoothie King. This is a chain, so the quality of the product needs to be judged based on consistency from the main recipes, and this location does everything it's supposed to. So nothing crazy, out of the ordinary in a negative way here. Pretty straightforward. This location just opened, so it still looks brand-new clean and it's maintained that way. Furniture is comfy. Atmosphere is welcoming. Where this location excels is in the fact that you don't pick up your smoothie at the end of the bar - it is brought to you if you are sitting. This is not something I've seen done at any other Smoothie King, and I very much appreciated it in a pleasantly surprising way, when I visited. The staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. Stopped in today for a birthday smoothie wich was supposed to be 2 dollars for a 20 oz but couldn't get it loaded, through the email I was sent or the app. Showed the persons at the register the emsil but they couldn't figure it out. I the told the person at the register I was just going to use the $2.81 in rewards I had in app and call it a day but didn't realize they didn't catch it. So, No discount on birthday smoothie and did not get to use my rewards.I'll be better prepared next time I guess.
