Wanted to give it a try but I was a little surprised with the prices. They seemed a bit on the higher end. Because of that, my wife and I decided to start with the Greek Fries. It took about 20-25m for this appetizer to come out. The fries seemed a little soggy and not crispy like I would expect. The gyro meat was great and flavors were fine, just a little lacking. The fries need more of the toppings and more sauce. The portion seemed small for $13, but it was fine enough to fill us up (more as a very light lunch). We decided not to order anything else.
We did not get a refill during our visit even though our glasses were empty most of the time. Wait staff was friendly enough, though no one said anything as we left.
Food/Menu: 2/5 - beyond just the taste of what I tried, not a lot on the menu really interested me. It is some kind of blend of Greek/Mediterranean with American/Southern and Italian that just doesn’t seem to work, in my opinion.
Prices: 2/5
Atmosphere: 4/5 - very clean and new
Branding: 2/5 - Not very attractive marketing/signage
Wait staff: 3/5 - friendly, could use improvement with more training. Wait for food was too long and no refill. Keeping score a point higher since it is SOFT OPENING.
Overall: 2.5/5 - Overall, fell a little below my filter of being “real okay.” Maybe more like not quite okay. Might be willing to try again in the future but probably not unless someone else...
Read moreI am aware that this is a soft opening, and the menu was VERY limited, but here we go.
Let’s start with the food. Chips, salsa and queso - Chips were great. Salsa was okay. Queso was pretty good but too thin and runny. -
I ordered the Hamburger and fries I wanted a burger without cheese but they put cheese on it anyway. Was an average burger, nothing special. Fries were greasy and over seasoned (too salty).
The waitress was nice and friendly. Probably could have refilled our iced teas before our glass was empty.
My biggest complaint is it’s too cold in the place. Air conditioning vents are blowing hard and straight towards the tables. My hair was blowing a little. Management. Please adjust your vents to where they’re not blowing directly where people sit. Also. Tables need to have sugar; sweet and low and Splenda packets. Salt and pepper shakers. A bottle of ketchup.
We might be back. Will wait on a better menu other than a burger or pita. If I want a burger I’ll go to red robin.
FOOD I took away 2 stars because of the cheese I didn’t want and the over salted/ seasoned greasy fries.
SERVICE I took away 1 star because my tea was empty and couldn’t finish my food.
ATMOSPHERE I took away 1 star because it’s too cold and the air conditioner was...
Read moreFood was ok….. they were out of an ingredient for appetizer but they substituted and it worked out ok. Ordered a house salad with ranch…. Salad was wilty wet romaine with a hard boiled egg sliced, sun dried tomatoes in pieces too large for a salad, and an abundance of red onion slices. Had to ask twice for my ranch. Others in our party said their food tasted good but the food didn’t look super appetizing. Their fries are FIRE! Two margaritas…. Same two ordered. First one was great…. The second was not good at all. When the bartender dropped off the first one she said “let your waiter know if it’s not good”. What?! Who says that?! We had to ask multiple times for ice water and tea refills and I asked three times for a glass of ice for my water and never got it.
Server: didn’t know the menu…. Couldn’t really make recommendations because he hasn’t eatten the food himself and they haven’t had enough customer feedback on many of the items. Was pretty halfhazard at best.
Will we be back??? Probably not. If we did go we would probably just do appetizers and...
