Hands down the best miniature golf course in or around Wildwood and I have played them all. A few others compare but Island takes the prize. First they have a huge amount of space compared to other locations which allows the course to breathe. I've read the other reviews where people complain that it's small and I don't understand it's Wildwood land is at a premium and Island is much larger than the other courses down there. A little unfair to compare it to city courses that have more available land.
On our visit the course was spotless. The owner was actually out cleaning herself trimming bushes and plants and sweeping the course. Immaculate.
The course was fun and in spots challenging. Are there a few straight shots? Sure every course has them but there were more than a few holes that were fun and challenging because again these holes have a little more length to them compared to others around. Plenty of uphills, downhills and even two where you have to launch the ball over water and another with a narrow bridge over water. Very fun course indeed! You can also win a free game at the end and veterans and military play for free. Free parking is huge as well plenty of spots in the lot behind the course. We didn't try the ice cream maybe next time but it was self service with a lot of toppings available. Rock wall wasn't up because we came in the daytime. They also have a baseball batting cage and...
Read moreVery nice place. You can see the artificial waterfall while driving by. My curiosity about this waterfall was what got me to play miniature golf with my wife. We went in bickering about whether to go here or not, and left with nothing but smiles. To start with, the lady behind the counter was very helpful and hospitable. Since we've never played miniature golf, she took the time to explain the rules of the game and how to keep score. The waterfall was much better than the street view, you can actually go under it and see the blue water splashing down. The layout of the course was really cool, some of the holes had underground tunnels that would spit your ball out near the next hole. Also has an ice cream shop and a batting cage on the premises. Police, firemen, and vets always get in free, which is very nice of them. Truly a fun place for a couple or a family. Thoroughly...
Read moreAwesome course, awesome customer service, challenging course but absolutely fun for the whole family. The course is ultra clean and plenty of slope, challenges, well thought out holes and lot’s of different ways to get to the hole. The last water hole with the bridge had a huge surprise when my 9 year old hit it in the steam and it ended up right next to the hole…super cool!! I will keep 5 stars but the medium batting cage was a little dangerous. The third pitch came in ultra wild and hit my left handed son who plays 10u travel and has been in a ton of cages. I would say 60% of the pitches thrown were not strikes, the pitch speed varied wildly and definitely not worth the $5 bucks… absolutely needs calibration. If you are in the Wildwood/Cape May area so worth it. And lastly, unlike many other courses in this area, no green headed flies to worry about getting bitten!! Had a...
