This motel had a living room/kitchen area with a medium sized refrigerator, 2 burner stove, coffee maker, toaster and microwave. They also provide dishes for cooking and eating. The couch pulled out to a double size bed and a full size table had 4 chairs. The bedroom area had 2 double sized beds and a pull out couch, so our room slept 8 people. The room also had a full bathroom and 2 AC units. There were 2 chairs and a small table on the balcony that overlooked the pool, which was only open from 10-6 each day. It only took us about 10 minutes to walk to the boardwalk which put us at the very beginning of the shops and convention center. Overall, we loved the motel and would stay there again. We checked in on Friday and checked out on Sunday at 10 (as required) and the cost was almost $800.

Went in the middle of June for a quick getaway for the first time to wildwood. Was looking for a pet friendly motel to take my 3 furry kids. Was not disappointed at all. The motel is close to the beach and board walk. It's also close to the park. On our 3rd day there we had a little mishap and we had to contact Connie around 8 on the morning , Connie was so nice about the situation. She took care of the matter right away. My husband and I were very happy there. we would be going back next year for our annual getaway. Thanks Connie for the great memories.

Had a wonderful time. Pet friendly hotel in an excellent location. Down the street from it is a park that I could take the dog to, couldn't have been better really. Also very close to the beach / boardwalk. It was clean & spacious, the staff were incredibly friendly & helpful. There's a great restaurant next door too, great sushi! 😊

I must stay this is my 2nd time staying in the motel. 1st time I came with my husband & son & we stood In a small room. The staff was very pleasant and kept the place very clean we had no issues. The place was pretty good so for the next year we decided to to bring my mom & my 3 sisters so we upgraded to a bigger room. The room was big however on night 1 when we're ready to relax after the 1st shower the tub was clogged had to wait 20min in between for the next person to shower. By the sink it was flooded with ants. There was a leak in the table/dinning area. And the pull out mattress it had no springs by the feet to hold your legs up. I went to management but the owner Connie was gone & had to wait till the morning. In the morning there were cops at the hotel due to other guest having issues. We left to the Broadwalk hoping when we got back all issues reported to her staff would be addressed by the time we got back. We got back around 9pm room was still the same no leak fixed tub still clogged and ants still having a party on the counter. As I went to office to find out what happen the girls come out the room saying the power now went out. The guy at front desk came checked & had no clue how to fix the issue. He said he would call the owner Connie. Connie said we had to wait till the morning so no TV with 3 girls under 8 and still all issues in place. Day 2 Connie finally comes to my room at 845am with a can or raid for the ants and everyone still sleeping like really. I explained to her everything she said her husband would come check everything so we got up went to see the kite show thinking it would give them time to fix everything. Left at 11am got back at 3pm and still nothing besides her husband apparently out getting springs for the mattress. TV still not working tub still clogged, leak still going and ants going strong with their party/parade. We booked for 3 nights and decided to leave on the 2nd day asked if we can be accommodated for the 3rd day we are not staying and she angrily stated no now after all this anger and uncomfortable situation she had no sympathy for even a days refund I am extremely angry and disappointed with the place that was HORRIBLE AND UNACCEPTABLE I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN & WOULD NEVER REFER THEM TO ANYONE NO MATTER HOW CLOSE IT MAY BE TO THE BROADWALK THERE ARE HUNDREDEDS FOR HOTELS OUT THERE TO HAVE TO ACCEPT GHAT KIND OF SERVICE FOR A WAPPING $780.00 I'M SO DISGUSTED WITH TIDEWINDS MOTEL. NEVER AGAIN... THANKS FOR THE HORRIFIC MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE 10...

DO NOT BOOK THIS MOTEL UNLESS YOU DON'T CARE IF YOU LOSE YOUR DEPOSIT!||||I belong to a non-profit, philanthropic organization that stayed at this motel during our annual convention in 2023. The rooms were adequate, clearly DIY "updated" and not everyone was comfortable, but it was a great location so we decided to leave a deposit to stay here in 2024 as well. ||||We had an agreement that we would need 15 - 20 rooms on the second floor, including two rooms that could accommodate out youth group (one for boys, one for girls). We gave her a deposit in the amount she asked for. Another chapter of our organization also left a deposit, after we'd made our agreement. We knew we would not fill all the rooms, so we didn't think we'd have a problem. We were wrong.||||When we contacted the owner over the winter, she had reserved only 14 rooms for us, on the ground floor, none of which was large enough to accommodate all of the girls. We would have needed at least 1 additional room since our young people would not all fit in any two of the rooms she reserved for us. When I explained that. she said our adult members could just share rooms since "most of my rooms are suites." ||||None of our needs were actually met, and she absolutely ignored our agreement. I informed the owner that we needed more rooms, and she said nothing, other than to call her back in two weeks. She didn't pick up that call or return my message.||||I contacted her again 6 weeks after our initial call, and she again suggested our adults should just share the rooms that had "suites" so we would only need 14 rooms. When I reminded the owner that would not work, she repeated her position. I also reminded her that we needed rooms on the second floor for young people. Again, she had no response other than that she expected different families to share rooms.||||A month later I notified her that we'd ended up needing 19 rooms and found another motel. I asked her to return our deposit and she REFUSED. I called her several times asking about the deposit, and only once did she say anything other than no. That one time, she said she had to "see if I can rent the rooms." She did rent the rooms, but still DID NOT return our deposit. She also stopped returning my calls.||||Someone needs to explain to this owner that she's in the hospitality industry, not the hostile apathy industry. ||||I am happy to report that the Crystal Sands Motel was more than accommodating - go there if you want a...

I want to respond to the reply I received from the owner of Tide Winds motel in Wildwood NJ, in response to my 1 star review.||First the reply from the owner is UNTRUE!||READ BELOW:||- I NEVER asked for a second floor room because I have difficulty with steps, and requested the first floor for that EXACT reason!||- I NEVER said I liked the motel, because there was NOTHING to like!||- I didn’t like being in a room infested with ANTS, a broken and patched bathroom tile floor, chipped and dirty headboards, black dirty fingerprints on the doors, dirty bedroom floor, dirty filthy bathroom with what looks like MOLD in the grout, the door deadbolt that didn’t work and, I was told by the owner that “nobody uses the deadbolt “, (?? HUH??), chipped and peeling paint on the walls and the bathroom door, HOLES in the walls, also the room door stuck so bad you couldn’t get out of the room (we worried about a fire), and when we told the owner “Connie”, she came and was able to open the door (smirking) with no problem because it wasn’t as hot and the door wasn’t swelled up.||- I enjoyed talking with Anita, the nite clerk, because she was very nice and friendly.||- I left the maid, Sharon, a generous tip because she worked very hard and I believed she didn’t make much from YOUR salary you pay her!||- I NEVER said I was “returning”, why on earth would I say that?||- I wasn’t “overheard” saying I would give a bad review, I TOLD YOU I was giving a bad review.||- AND, we checked out on Saturday afternoon August 28, INSTEAD of Monday August 30, 2021, which was PAID FOR AND NOT REFUNDED. Why would we leave a day earlier for something that we had ALREADY PAID FOR if it wasn’t a DUMP?||So there really isn’t anything “puzzling” as far as my review. What is very puzzling is your false, untrue response.||A word to the wise: DON’T book at this NEGATIVE star “motel”!||Trip typeCouple ·...
