Visually appealing. However, as someone that does escape rooms everywhere I visit as well as trying many in the area this one was one of the worst. Yes the price is a little cheaper but it's because it was only 30 minutes compared to others being 1 hr. The video before the game started was weird. You dont know you'll be in the room with other groups until it's time to go in. The person should say something before you go in or when you pay. The clues are given similar to other places, waving your arms in the air, but the clues make no sense and are really long. Some of the stuff inside the room did not fit together. I'm still not sure how certain things linked to one another to open other things. And everytime we asked we never had a good explanation. And our clues really sucked and was more of a confusion than help. Would not recommend this place!
Update: My review was not read properly by Cloak and Dagger. I did not shame their prices. I said it is a little cheaper because it is 30 min! I knew it was 30 min when I decided to do it. I love giving reviews to places and pride myself on giving my opinion on a place and letting people know of my experiences and prices to places. That's part of a review to let people know these thing. Okay... Either way this was a very distasteful response. I also did not say anything about a private room for a small party, I made my review based off of not being told other people would be in the room with me. Other Escape Rooms anywhere I have been have told me that other parties may join unless a private room is booked. I have been doing escape rooms for over a year now from Florida to Pennsylvania to South Carolina to many right here in NJ. All of them have said other parties may join if you do not book a private room right off the bat. I was told nothing. When asking for a clue there was no guidance for it. Just a long clue that made no sense. And when someone in the group looks directly at the camera and asks a question about the clue the person running the room should help guide the group so everyone better understands the clue. Also most clues were not linked to eachother. We all tried a specific drawer that did not open and after asking for a clue and being told to try the drawer it was magically opened with no task completed to open it. Still curious about that. I understand you pride yourself of the amazing experience for guests but your response makes me think otherwise. Everyone has their opinion and review......
Read moreI do not recommend this escape room very poor service and no refunds we could not understand the girl giving instructions when they took us into the room we had to ask her three times to repeat what she was saying so we ended up leaving the room and then requesting a refund and it turns out they said the girl has a speech impediment so not only that they put their employee in a bad situation but they put us in a bad situation instead of having written instructions or someone else giving instructions we put this bad feedback on their site and they delete our posts so they edit and only keep the good ones so you can imagine how many bad were there until they...
Read moreMy friends and I went in the morning and solved the Hillbilly escape room without any clues and some time to spare. We had so much fun we went back that night and played the Knight's room. We unfortunately didn't win that room but were very close. I would definitely recomend the knight room if you want a challenge. Well worth the money. We had a ton of fun figuring them out. Robin helped us out and was very friendly. She and the rest of the staff were welcoming. The atmosphere is chill but the room itself can be high pressure when time is winding down. 10/10...
