If I could give them nothing I would. We arrived after being on the road for 22 hours wanting to have some supper and settle into our hotel room. We were told a half hour wait, okay we can deal. (4adults 1 child) numerous people arrive after we do, names are taken and we wait one by one those who came after are being seated. Now I know what you are thinking maybe they called ahead- no I heard them ask for a table. Maybe they had less people again no some had more some had less no reason to skip over us repeatedly. At this point I am angry and I ask politely how much longer until we are seated. The hostess says you are next. Lies, more people are seated ahead of us who arrived after us. We are finally seated 45 or so minutes later. FINALLY right? No! We sit in a back corner with AC blowing on us (it's only April ) today it was in the 60s not bad but not needing AC. After another 15 minutes has passed we are asked are you taken care of? I say no we haven't seen a waiter/waitress yet. He takes out drink order and attempts to walk away. We stop him and inform him due to the wait we have our meals chosen. Orders are taken and a few minutes later he returns with drinks. Leaving out a straw for my mother saying he will be right back. He doesn't return so she goes and finds a straw. A half an hour later he brings some plates. Sadly one plate is dirty still and he catches it and returns moments later with another DIRTY plate. My food was horrible. I ordered a calazone with mushrooms and bacon. The bacon was so not cooked it was practically raw. I tried to cut the calazone and my fillings entirely fell out of the pocket. I basically had cheese hoop with mushrooms and raw bacon and an empty calazone shell. Did I mention other tables who had placed orders after us received their perspective pizza dishes before we did? We sat at the table its self for an hour before food. Our bill came to 75 bucks and change for two calazones one large pizza and a child pizza meal. I will never go back and if were asked I would never recommend this place. The waiter tried to pass off a lame excuse of "we have never been this busy" are you kidding? You are in Williamsburg that's a crock and we all know it. Poor service poor food and...

Combo Pizza (17.99): The pizza isnt' really a brick oven taste and the dough is very plain. The toppings volume wasnt a great balance and there was little meat. The pizza dough is extremely plain and tasted like store bought pizza or just a standard oven baked pizza. No crisp taste to it, the end crust ended up hard like a rock within minutes of eating it fresh? No flavor to the crust, light on the sauce. It didn't taste anything like a true brick oven pizza compared to places like Frank Pepe's or Fireworks Pizza if you know them. Very unsatisfied was it.
Anna's Sampler (13.99): Fried food is supposed to be simple. This didn't taste great either. Its suppose to have fried zucchini, fried tenders, and fried mozzarella. The quantity balance was bad like they were rushing, the sizes were all over like they just put their hand in a bag and pulled out a fist full of pieces, whether its hand made or wholesale bought, I don't care. I had gaint tender pieces (4) that was hard like a rock and breaded more than it needed to be. Zucchini (15) places were all size from crumbs to palm size, good thougg, but batter is thick. Then mozzarella stick (3) were good but only had few pieces. I thought this was supposed to be a proper sampler and sorted nicely, but they just dumped it all in a box and gave it to me. Overall, too thick on batter, no seasoning or taste, just fried food.
Overall quality is from a cheap local pizza store you find at strip malls for $10, is the only way I can compare them. Not a place you want to come back to if you want quality pizza, Ill stick to my Mellow Mushroom in...
Read moreOkay food but there were a few things that need to be improved.
If you list caramelized onions as a topping then don’t lie and take shortcuts. The onions need to be caramelized. If I’m taking a bite of my calzone and the onion crunches it is nowhere close to caramelized. If you are going to be lazy with your restaurant then just list “onions”. I didn’t get them but I bet their “roasted red peppers” are thrown on raw too.
The wings were soggy. The restaurant puts them in a take out box with vent holes but doesn’t open the vent holes. Makes no sense.
3 toppings in the calzone but it was almost all cheese. If you pay for each topping you expect a pretty loaded calzone getting 3 of them.
The caramelized onion thing really gets to me because a lot of restaurants do it. Caramelized onions are delicious. Raw onions do not belong on pizza or in calzones. Period. They do not cook enough and permeate the meal with a raw onion funk. Not as big of a deal if you don’t specify they are caramelized because then I wouldn’t ask for them.
Overall everything is fixable so hopefully the restaurant sees this review and fixes them. If they take pride in their food and respect their...
