The good: Not horribly expensive. Seemingly fresh made bagels. Relatively quick food.
The bad: Not much on the sandwiches. Staff (This is probably what leads to other problems)
We had the Smokehouse, farmhouse, blt, smoothie, and the cafe mocha.
The blt i asked for with the asiago roll, looks like it came on a bagel (looked like asiago cheddar) and was like 2 pieces or bacon a layer of lettuce and 1 tomato slice. It was ok at best. The bagel? Wasnt very flavorful.
The farmhouse was supposed to come on the cheesy hashbrown bagel but looked like it was on the asiago cheddar roll (Maybe they mixed our order up which is why the staff seems to be the issue more than the food). The sandwich was ok but not outstanding.
The smokehouse was probably my favorite. It appeared to be on a roll but it was jalapeno cheddar from the look. So idk if they make rolls like this and call them bagels? The sandwich was good. I liked it a lot and probably the only reason i gave them a 3 star.
The staff didnt seem very animated, happy, and it seemed like the issues with the order partially stemmed from there.
The smoothie is good (strawberry banana) and the cafe mocha was supposed to be frozen? But was more like an iced coffee.
All in all for a quick stop for breakfast id stop here again, but i wouldnt go out of my way to eat here like other places we have visited...
Read moreFirst, I am an advocate for small business having had a few of my own. And please, take this only as my one honest opinion. But, please, please also balance my opinion with all of the 5 star ratings many, many, many others have given. So. Here goes, I was excited that I found a bagle shop just 10 minutes from our NC vacation stay. The shop was packed with customers and the employees handled the crowd very well. We ordered 7-8 bagel sandwiches/burritos. We were in the shop no more than 20 minutes. So cudos to the staff. And they were all curtious. But, honestly, the sandwiches/burritos were extremely underwhelming. First, I asked at least three times when ordering that all bagles be toasted well. When we had breakfast the bagles were barely toasted at all. The burritos were full of eggs, but the meat was almost non-existent. The bagles sandwiches were skinny on eggs and meats. So, a bagle sandwich with a barely toasted bagel and little product in between. Well, you can imagine what it tasted like. Now, having said that we were there at about 8am on a Sunday. So in fairness, they were very busy. And having said all of that I would still give them another try if I am ever back in the area. Perhaps, it was just the wrong time of day. But if the food we got is the standard, it is...
Read moreMy family and I go here often. The staff has gradually gotten horrible but the food is amazing. Today we encountered a issue with a cashier named Paige. She was very rude and unprofessional. She confronted us over a issue with a chocolate milk she rung up that stated it was a pint size on the receipt when it was half the size of that so my children took two 8oz chocolate milks that equal 16 oz which equals the pint we were charged for, after she threatened us to get the law involved we put the 2nd one away and are now trying to get in contact with cooperate or the owner. This was a very minor issue that could have been resolved with the manager but instead she got the manager and spoke over the manager the entire time. Paige refused to provide us with a cooperate number as we requested. My family and I sat down to eat and she stared at us the entire time and then proceeded to talk about us to another cashier pointing at us and looking at us. My family and I felt so uncomfortable that we did not even finish eating, we threw our food away and left. Paige was very rude and unprofessional. We will NOT be eating here again nor recommending it to anyone else due to the poor...
