Where to begin! The server reminded me of Ursala from Mad About You, she took our drink orders and asked if we needed time to order, my fiancee said we're ready we checked out the menu already, she said OK and walked away 🥴🥴🥴 When she can back, we ordered. I ordered the Benedict burger without ham. He ordered the chicken sandwich without avocado and no potatoes. She said oh, you already know about our children sandwich! He said, yes, I saw it on the menu. My son got the bacon burger. As we waited for the food, my son finished his juice, she appeared out of the blue and said "we don't have free refills on juice" I said OK, can we have some water... She comes back with water for all and anther cup of juice. I said, we didn't order more juice, she said "oh, I thought you said OK" I explained I said OK that they don't have free refills. Our food arrives. He has potatoes, I have ham 🥴🙄🤨. She offers to take it back, I decline and say I'll just take the ham off... she offers to get me a small plate, I say OK. She comes back with the plate, she stands beside the table, I put the ham on it and she says, "OK I'll take it back now and have them make it again." I say no thank you, I took the ham off. She says, "oh OK, is that what the plate was for? OK then" and walked away. I look down at what the called a burger patty and it was over for me. I couldn't eat. They hand form the patties, which I admire, but what I had on my bun was NOT even a patty. My fiancee tasted his chicken and he too, was disappointed. The fried chicken tenders were bland and soggy. She came back over and asked if everything was OK. I explained that I didn't want my "burger" and asked that it be removed from the bill. She offered again to have it remade and she even offered free sides...unfortunately, I was already over it. The manager came over to ask what happened and then said "that's a prep cook issue I'm the back, that wasn't her fault" I simply said OK. I went to the restroom and came back to a refill on my iced tea, which was nice. I love brunch places and may try this chain in a different location, Williamsburg VA was no...
Read moreWell I’d like to start off by saying I wish and wanted to give this place a good rating and review because my wife and I traveled to the area and found this place to eat! Well up arriving everything was great untill we got to our table! Or server was an older lady by the name of “Kriste.” When Kristi came and took our order my wife had a question about 2 of the different breakfast plates. She was completely rude to my wife and talked to her like she was of no education. Then it gets better…. We were sorted right beside the bar… well apparently Kristi was mad that some of the younger employees were making good tips that morning and not her according to her own words to the bar tender out loud and was complaining about employees in the middle of the establishment! When it became time to pay, Kristi charges us 60 dollars for our plates… which was completely wrong. When I bought it up to her…. She tried denying the whole thing! I had to pull my phone and bank statements out on my phone to prove to her she was lying! My card was charged 60 bucks then the 40 I was originally supposed to pay! It took me confronting with documents for her to come clean and hand me the proper 40 dollar receipt! I went to management and they basically told me to wait a week to see if the money comes back to my card! I just want to say it’s honestly not my fault she was not having a good morning! But to steal and lie is never ok in any situation! The manager didn’t even try to make it right or comp anything! I literally told the manager y’all are trying to run a high end establishment with people that shouldn’t be able to have access to peoples money or bank cards! I certainly won’t be back! People check ur bills before u leave! If I didn’t I’d be out an extra 20 some bucks! Absolutely floored something like this happened in a establishment that’s trying to portray that they’re high end. Also the waiters had to make sure the drinks were made right at the bar also. Honestly floored and shocked at this establishment! I won’t be back nor any of my...
Read moreMe and my two friends went to this restaurant today and it was overall a bad experience. We ordered our food and had to wait 30+ minutes to receive it and, in that time, our waitress did not check on us once. When we finally received our food, the waitress immediately came over to us and asked how it was. Because we had just gotten our food and hadnt tasted it yet, we just said everything was good. We all tried our food and it was just not good. I ordered the Miss Lucy omlette and it had almost no filling and a strange taste. My friend ordered the pancake and said it wad chewy and difficult to eat. My other friend said her sausage tasted like pickle juice and, when we tried it, she was correct. I would not normally send back food but, because we all did not like anything we had, we decided to. Because I did not see our waitress, I kindly asked another member of the staff if we can speak to the manager. When the manager came over, she asked us if we had told our waitress we do not like our food and we told her that we have not seen our waitress. She left and came back with the waitress who was completely unprofessional and confrontational. She said she asked us if we liked it and we told her that we had just gotten the food so we just told her we were good. We expected that it was obvious that we hadnt tried it because we had just gotten our food and it was all still there. She was getting angry at us and the manager told us we could only get 50% off. They were arguing with me that I ate half of my omelette when I had maybe 4 bites and another half would not even fit on my plate if I tried. My friends still had their plates completely full with one bite taken out of the pancakes. The food was BAD and, if that was all it was, I would not even be writing this review. The fact that we were being lectured and yelled at and then only given half off with our food snatched away is absolutely...
