Smalls Sliders — Restaurant in Willis

I was expecting schlock, real schlock. But it was good, real good. Burger is thicker than a slider patty and has a larger diameter. The fries were not greasy and did not have appreciable salt in the seasoning. The portion of fries was HUGH. Burgers and fries were perfect as they come. No need for ketchup.

On the “con” side, the drive through lanes are too tight. Be careful. Very little walk-up parking. No indoor seating except for the bathrooms.

The price was right and the wait was ok. Only 12 minutes. Staff was friendly. Of course they were, they are students at Willis High School (Go Wildkats!!)

I will brave the traffic to go back. The food is that good!

Returned the next day. 29 minutes to get through the auto line. Food was outstanding. We both filled up for $13.00. Can’t beat that.

Update, January 18, 2025. We’ve been there four times in the first two weeks. The other day we arrived, ordered and picked up our order all within three minutes and 20 seconds. That must be a record.

The, original flavor, size, and ordering system or something that we wanted to try but somehow in two weeks, the burgers have lost their appeal. I don’t know if it’s the cheese (or cheese flavored food) the sauce or what.

I think the novelty of it all brought many people during the first two weeks. The traffic has slackened off and I imagine the sales with it and before too long, staff will be reduced. It’s a nice place and for under $15.00 two of us can have dinner so we will be returning, but it...

For everyone thinking the madness of the Smalls drive through line is about opening week crowds or workers being disorganized etc..you would be wrong! The problem is twofold..customers placing their order then once arriving at the pickup window they decide to add to their order (and I’m not talking about an extra drink or fry). I’m talking about ordering a party pack at the window!! That happened twice while I was in line, which meant I spent one hour in the drive thru!! Instead of having a place for these people to pull over to and wait they just make everyone wait an extra 30 minutes for these large add on orders!! Why not tell those people to pull around and park and pick up those large order add ons at the walk up window instead of trapping everyone in line behind them?? I complained, begged them to move people out of the drive thru line who keep doing this but was told they had no where to have them pull over to!! Every other fast food place takes care of large orders or slower developing orders by having that vehicle pull forward or directed to a parking space. Not Smalls! So unless customers become more considerate and stop placing large add on orders at the window the drive thru mess will continue. Until something changes I...

I was expecting something I did not receive... I understand it was a grand opening, but the best thing I received was the plastic cup with my drink.. the employees didn't know prices and didn't anticipate the rush they had for a grand opening.. the employees were just standing in a group and didn't seem concerned with the customers. Me and my wife waited in line for 40 minutes (which is to be expected) for $20 dollars for 4 sliders and some waffle fries is not worth it in my opinion.. the queso was overly expensive for something I could buy myself at any store. The sliders were not as advertised, barley any sause, one pickel per slider and it was cold. The waffle fries tasted like something you could buy in store... they got my order wrong as well.. I had to open the box and check. While others behind me got upset because I wasn't moving forward... but for that amount of money on one meal I'm going to see is it was right..the one employee who I waved over was nice but other then that I'd go anywhere else to receive better and cheaper food.. it was a nice gimmick for...
